We really did get incredibly lucky twice with O’Neill. First that it fell to sh!t with Norwich so we managed to get him in the first place, and secondly that he didn’t walk away after the Sheff Utd protest. Did we miss the boat on him when Nancy took over at Celtic? If we’d have pulled the plug on Marti then, would MON have come back?

Our entire transfer strategy seems to have been to send Caranza back and sign Antonio.

1 - Parry efforts to the side not back into the danger zone 2 - Learn when to tell your defenders to just get rid of it 3 - Kick Better All 3 of these can be coached and improved upon and would make him a remarkably better keeper. Realise the remit from Marti is to play out from the back but as a keeper, he needs to be commanding enough to tell the defenders to get rid. An instance last night where Okoli was under pressure, he had a man on him and he still offered himself for the pass. In conditions like that, he should be telling Okoli to put it in the stand and then everyone can regroup.

Strange you mention Holloway. It really reminded me last night of a game at home to Colchester just before we were relegated to League 1. We scored a last minute equaliser and Chelsea Dagger came on. Literally we all looked at each other in the crowd knowing that it wasn't going to be enough. No celebration, no anger, no emotion. Just resignation.

Goals aside let's be honest, he's been absolute dogsh!t. Last night was quite unbelievable to watch and bar one good pass to Mavididi in the second half, he did more to hinder us and he's been like that for a while.

That was just awful. I keep thinking it can’t get worse but he somehow managed it. There just doesn’t appear to be any real plan, any purpose to the play. The players are clearly unfit and even the basics of their game are so below what’s required, he should be sacked for that alone, let alone the results and performances. The argument of, ‘yeah but the problems are higher up’ or ‘who we gonna get’ just no longer wash. Looking at tonight and the recent performances, they should get as much as they can for Fatawu (probably the only one we can sell at a price that covers his PSR bullshit with enough to spare) and use the money to sack Marti and pay someone half decent to come in. If the points deduction comes in the next 2 weeks which looks likely, he will take us into League 1 this season.

Its just staggering how out of control the wages have gotten. To have sold the amount we’ve sold without replacement and STILL be seemingly nowhere near is just astounding.
