It’s a shame we probably won’t be able to see him progress here further than the end of the season.

He’s 1 goal off matching his tally from 23/24 and got 7 assists (he got 13 in 23/24) so numbers wise he’s having a fine season. Whilst Abdul has to take some of the blame for how he’s playing I do have sympathy for all our wingers playing in this side. We struggle massively to get the ball to Monga/Fatawu/Mavididi in good positions and back them up with support.

Whilst he wasn’t outstanding (not that he needs to be) it’s nice to have someone pretty calm and reassuring at the back.

Saying he wants to be closer and then vanishing is a hilarious bit to be fair to him

I really don’t care about a cup run mainly because I don’t want any extra games of having to watch this side. I would like to see Evans get a chance, most likely off the bench but I highly doubt he’ll he involved, especially with the u21s playing on Friday. I really have no idea what sort of side he’ll put out.

First goal came from quick one touch passes and the second was from actually putting a cross into the box and there being at least 3 of our players there! Truly groundbreaking stuff.

said it in another thread but compare him now to the Monga that first came into the side. He seems to have lost his freedom & spark a little. I don’t really blame him as he is so young and playing in a rotten set up. He’ll get no help from his LB either.

Can definitely see the potential. Passing looks braver and he’s looks more physical compared to his first spell in the side in August/September.

He’s a goalkeeper that matches the level we’re at. He will have a howler but he’ll also play very well. We’re a mid table championship team and will be for some time.

I thought Louis Page did well again. Looks way more composed than he did at the start of the season. Shame he couldn’t grab a goal at the end.
