Don’t see Evans in the training video they released but Cover is involved. I remember Cover playing in a cup game under Maresca against Birmingham. Think he was RB & inverted into midfield. It’s a shame we probably won’t be able to see him progress here further than the end of the season.

He’s 1 goal off matching his tally from 23/24 and got 7 assists (he got 13 in 23/24) so numbers wise he’s having a fine season. Whilst Abdul has to take some of the blame for how he’s playing I do have sympathy for all our wingers playing in this side. We struggle massively to get the ball to Monga/Fatawu/Mavididi in good positions and back them up with support.
