Thought he did well. Gone done by their LW in the first half but after that thought he looked pretty composed. Few loose passes but on the whole think it was a positive performance. It’s nice having a fullback willing to get forward. Linked up well with Page & Monga when he came on. 38/43 passes completed 2/2 tackles won 2/4 ground duels won 1/2 aerial duels win 1 recovery 4 clearances Not bad for his 2nd senior start, especially after the disappointment of Southampton.

Ayew getting a red card would be huge. Hopefully a straight so he misses 3 games

He works extremely hard & definitely has the physicality to compete. Pretty good on the ball too. He’s played as a 10 & deeper so far this season. Cartwright is in the same mould as James I think would be a fair comparison just not as good obviously

Watching Falkirk. Cartwright started the move for the first goal. Played a nice pass forward. Not really sure what’ll happen with him but he’s a proper battler in the midfield
