For them, the "magic of the cup" is when catering put some whipped cream and marshmallows in their hot chocolate.
-
Must be gutting for Sky Sports, they'd already posted Kavanagh and Pawson their personalised Southampton shirts for this one. Thats £140 they'll never get back.

Booooooo.

Bournemouth were completely dead on their feet at the end. We played Enzo ball with a second string lineup and wore down a team full of Premier League players to the point they couldn't even hold the ball for a couple of seconds when chasing a goal in a cup tie at home.

Yunus is too lightweight for English football... flattens Phillip Billing -
Fun fact I found out while checking where we are on TV tonight (iPlayer). Us, Bournemouth, Wolves and Brighton get 55k for being on iPlayer. All the other teams get 125k because the Beeb and ITV like to slurp all over the big 6. Another little big 6 bonus to keep things financially "fair".

The key thing about that VAR decision that must be taken into account, is that it went against Liverpool. That makes it very, very funny, so it's ok in my book.

Wait until they find out about Man United, they'll have to make sure Tractorweb forum can handle 64 bit integers to display how much those nobbers spent on their squad

Leeds United (A) 3-1 - Post-Match Thread

Do Leeds fans ever talk to Leeds fans about Leeds after Leeds win? On a Leeds forum? Or is it just the rest of the world that has to suffer as we get lectured too without respite about why Leeds are so brilliant. What do you all actually want? Are you expecting us all to wax lyrical about the mighty Leeds and say you were the bestest team we ever played, and had the noisest, most passionate fanbase, and it was a privelidge to see Farke's galacticos scoring the most incredible double deflection goal the world has ever seen outside of Portman Road. If you are expecting everyone else to like and respect Leeds, well that's not going to happen - mainly because your fanbase is so insufferable. Why are they all here? Why are they all over the comment sections of the Youtube videos? Newspaper match report comment sections would be understandable. The EFL's highlights would be understandable. The LCFC highlights is slightly less understandable. But they are all over the Enzo Maresca post match interview, on the LCFC channel. Who does that? Who watches opposition manager post match interview videos and comments on them, 5 minutes after they are uploaded? - You do realise we didn't see a single Middlesborough fan here after that game, when we lost. You don't even get Liverpool and Man Utd fans giving it the biggun on here, and they are the worst glory hunting plastics on the planet. What happened in Leeds to make you all like this? Don't you all think it's a bit weird? What did you all do before the internet? Go around knocking on doors like Jehovah's witnesses - "Excuse me, do you have a minute to talk about Leeds United?" "No, actually, I don't really follow football..." "So, anyway, we definitely would have beaten your lot, whoever they were, when we played them if it weren't for that crooked ref, just like that one when we were in Eurpoe back in 1756, and he got struck off afterwards, so really, if you think about it, we are the champions of Eurpoe, anyway, anyway, as I was saying, this is why Lee Bowyer shoud be winning that Ballon D'or, and can you stop trying to shut that front door on mi foot, I've just got to get out me alternate league table to show you why we are actualy top" -

Jon Moss retired and they made him a manager of the other referees. They have no concept of what good refereeing actually is. Interestingly, as a contrast, I looked up Roger East, a ref so unrememberable that I can't even recall what he looks like. Turns out he retired in 2019. That's the gold standard there. A ref who makes so little **** ups and controversial decisions he can be gone for 5 years and you don't even realise. -

The problem with VAR is they put Chris kavanagh or pawson there. So either one of those dickheads **** you over in person, and the ref at var does nothing because "it wasn't clear and obvious/want to stick with the on field decision", or pawson on var decides to **** us over, and suddenly clear and obvious isn't a thing. Technology isn't the issue. It's that Craig pawson has a long and documented issue of officiating games where he tries to screw us over as much as possible. Edit - Vs Everton away when going for champions league: "Wilfred Ndidi was penalised for handball in the area after VAR reviewed the award of a corner by referee David Coote. Everton and Leicester were forced to wait over two minutes for Craig Pawson to rule the midfielder had handled the ball and that a penalty must be given." Strange how it's always the same few refs who do this over and over again. -

Working in Leeds as a Leicester fan

Seriously though. In tough times, we all need something nice to look forward to. A holiday, a break away. An important social event. Or the thought of one Monday morning in May, all your colleagues coming into work after Leeds slip up against Southampton and finish third, only to find a giant print out of Jamie Vardy surrounded by teammates and lifting the Championship trophy, while a bluetooth speaker plays the iconic sounds of Andrea Bocelli singing Nessun Dorma, but with random bits of LCFC goal commentary edited in. Then, right as the peak of the iconic song hits, they look at their desks and realise something is strange. There's something left, right in the middle of the desk, waiting for them, as another voice clip hits, but it's not a very professional commentator, almost sounds like a fan, commentating on some long distant game, wait, did he say something about Leeds, dirty Leeds? And .... They see what is on their desks. A new, fresh, unopened treat, just for them -

If they give you any grief, just bang on and on about Pawson being a match fixer and we were the better side and the noisier fans and we are a bigger team and have you seen how good we are? We're literally the best. In fact, lets go on all the opposition clubs forums and tell them all how great we are and how shit they are, they'll really enjoy that debate. And then yell WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, CHAMPIONS OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP in their face for the next 50 years if we don't win the title. See how they like it, the twats. -

Overall record in the Prem: Played 28. Won 9, drawn 5 LOST14. 2 reds against us, plenty of pens. In the championship: Played 7, won 1, drawn 2 lost 4. Mighty suspicious looking stats, for a team that won the Prem and finished 5th twice and was consistently top half, and when in the Championship during his tenure we've always been chasing promotion. Also, in the Covid season when we were going after the Champions League - he reffed us vs Arsenal and Spurs away, Chelsea at home, and Man U away. Granted we won all of those, but a bit odd it was exactly those games he was selected for, isn't it? -

Another live away game on Sky in the title race, and just like against Ipswich away (KDH pen), Cov Away (multiple missed reds/2nd yellows for them, harsh one on Abdul given we've seen worse fouls by the oppo every week go unpunished) and again today with Pawson and his lino. ooh, the title race is on AND IT'S LIIIIIIVE. Just what the league and the TV co want. It'smalmost like they needed a ref for the job, and looked down their lists and looked at Pawson and his past record and knew he would do the job magnificently. And a week after they sent the equally dodgy Chris Kavanagh. Jon Moss out of retirement for next Saturday the, is it? -
Pawson with an assist. MOTM, best opposition player since the ref in the Cov game. Also on Sky. Got your manufactured title race, Sky, enjoy. Lots of love, PGMOL.

Another yellow not given to Leeds. Match fixing ****.

So if Kamara had been booked for taking out Faes to prevent a counter in the first half, he'd be off? Thanks Pawson.
