Question for you, when the club extended accounts to 13 months which obviously includes an additional 12th of total wages and operating costs. Is the next set of accounts only 11 months or is the 13th month included on the next set of accounts as 12 months? “As the change was made to align the club's accounting with the rest of its business. The 13th month had an impact on the club's accounts in a number of ways: Expenses: The club's wage bill increased by £24 million, player amortisation rose by £5 million, and other expenses increased by £4 million”

Who knows, it seems a bit odd that that a few days before the accounts are published he predicts 20 clubs chances of breaching PSR. Lots of chances to get stuff wrong.

I don’t know, one way to check would be to see is if he predicted clubs that have previously breached etc and if he had predicted clubs that would and didn’t. personally, I will take it for what it is a estimate but probably one of the most educated guesses out there.

He does state estimate on the top. “To answer this question perfectly, we would need access to the accounts for the most recent 2023/24 season, so all figures would be available for the 3-year monitoring period used for the PSR calculation, but unfortunately very few of these have been published to date. Therefore, we will have to prepare a forecast for 2023/24 for most Premier League clubs, but we should be able to make a reasonable estimate, as key drivers like on-pitch performance, player sales and purchases are already known.”

How can they then claim the £22n reduction doesn’t apply to them the 35m PSR limit is for the top flight teams per season? What ever the outcome, it’s as shady as **** for a second season. Yes to the mental wages, certainly we were anyway as per the Wages to turnover image for 22/23 PSR is based on a 3 year rolling limit. 35m for every season in the top flight. The annual accounts must not have greater losses for PSR that period than the 3 year rolling period. the majority of our issues came for wages to turnover which was not sustainable, the sudden loss of European football then PL revenue has led us to the position we are into today. Coincidentally Forest and Everton were the other 2 teams high on the list here and ones you mentioned, they breached. Villa must of been close, but along with West Ham have larger gate revenues. it will be interesting to see Swiss Rambles forecast

It wasn’t long a go they were being laughed at by fans on here for the scattergun approach and the “crazy power hungry” chairmen that was going to send the club into oblivion. As for enjoying their spending last year and taking a hit, it was -€44m net last and currently this season -€18m Depending on if KDH is on last seasons accounts, we are already - €80m it was the first season they were promoted they took a massive gamble -€195m

Just like how these “experts” wouldn’t have known about the Trestellar deal in 2014 they can’t foresee everything.

If the club go down it’s not coming back for a long time. We struggled to comply with 83m last season. Relegation would mean 61m next season. It really is shit or bust time
