  1. Forest fans loving life, agent cooper working from the inside đź‘€
  2. Easy out though, no one is expecting 10-0 wins but 3 games in and they all show a familiar pattern. That says less about the personal and more about the instructions
  3. and we cant afford to sack a bloke that has just signed a 3 year contract before the season starts
  4. Having looked further at other clubs previous transfers this seems to be a bit of a grey area and nothing truly definitive, so for clarification i have ran it through a super computer (fm24) The new rule on loans was brought in by fifa from 8, 7, to six over the past 3 seasons https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12520895/transfer-news-fifa-announces-radical-new-loan-plans-that-will-limit-clubs-to-six-loan-exits-per-season I presume the 6 player rule is now applicable to be applied to 7 players over the age of 22 from a foreign club as the game is last season, and as above also includes players loaned out
  5. Who watches football to see your team shoot anyway
  6. You have taken a quote out of context. The part you have quoted and applied to loans is underlined. As I have repeatedly said, this is now 6 maximum loans for July 24 it’s not outdated it changed to 6 in July 24. the full quote These rules were introduced by the Premier League ahead of the 2019/20 season. They have continued to change in recent years, with FIFA announcing in January 2022 that by July 2024, the number of players allowed to be loaned out and loaned in will be reduced from eight to six. During the 2023/24 season, clubs were allowed seven loan players in and seven loaned out. It is worth noting that these restrictions don't apply to players under the age of 21 or "homegrown" talents, who are defined as players who have spent time at their current club or another in the same country for at least three years between the ages of 15 and 21.
  7. “But there are restrictions on how many players top-flight clubs can loan from other Premier League/English clubs. Loan rules in the 2022/23 Premier League handbook state: "Premier League clubs may not register more than two players on loan at any one time” The rule stated above has to cover English clubs as you could have examples of Everton loaning multiple Leeds players to strengthen their squad like when they signed only Harrison What stipulations are you asking about? If there was a loophole of under 21s being loaned and homegrown players being exempt there would be untold examples of it of weaker clubs that have needed to exploit it. Luton, Forest and Burnley for example in recent years.
  8. Premier League clubs may not register more than two players on loan at any one time. (From PL or English clubs) Buonanotte Would count as one player on loan from the PL and one of the four maximum for the season. He is not exempt because he is an under 21. That rule is in relation to the total maximum players can a club can have loaned in/out at anyone time which is now six (unless homegrown or under 21) Zaha would also count as one of the four maximum loans in the season as he is based outside the PL.
  9. This is in relation to the maximum number of loaned out players/ loaned in at anyone time which is down to 6 “Also affecting the loan market this summer is a further reduction in the number of players clubs may bring in and send out on temporary moves. From July 23, teams may only have a maximum of seven players loaned in and seven loaned out at one time – down from eight last season. It will fall to six next summer, although under-21s and club-trained players are exempt. As well as restricting player hoarding, it may also make clubs who have leveraged the loan market extensively, such as Nottingham Forest, more selective about their signings.”
  10. On about 140k a week, sounds feasible given our issues with PSR
  11. Bournemouth in the hunt for a new striker đź‘€
  12. 2 seasons in the champ plus one prem as opposed to Southampton and us with one season in the champ 3 year rolling average
  13. Same as last season and the spending that took place? If we survive this season our PSR limit won’t change, it will still be 83m. More high earners could have left, but it depends of what they are replaced with and there are the additional merit payments from where we finish at the end of the season. edit amount
  14. So are Ipswich €72m and Southampton €63m and they have both spent double the amount so far and In Ipswich case PSR is even more restrictive.
  15. Brighton aren’t going to send a player out on loan to spend less minutes playing than he did the previous season. If Alves did turn out to be better he isn’t going to keep Buonanotte on the bench. The deal needs to benefit Brighton, more than being a bit part player at their club and as there is no transfer to be gained it’s about playing time.
  16. Depends on the terms of the deal, for Brighton to let him go they are going to except him to start the majority of matches. If he is pony or out of form does he start regardless
  17. 1369 mins which works out about under half the game time of above. Still beggars can’t be choosers.
  18. Because his on about 80k a week and in 12 months time we are likely to be in the championship again, and it’s being reported we have a lack of funds
  19. Wonder how long before we are linked to Antonio
  20. Chelsea join £20m transfer hunt for Celtic star Matt O’Riley but midfield ace has reservations over Blues move
  21. The thread title would imply someone has signed
  22. We have the second lowest valued squad in the League, it’s just another sign of the times.
