  1. Wouldn’t it be better to look at Leeds that were on a similar trajectory, promoted relegated, not promoted £61m losses last season
  2. One goal in his last 10 starts for Zambia, so it’s not just a Leicester thing. Amazed that he has been allowed to see out his contract here. Absolute dogshit
  3. But we were relegated, he didn’t want to be here, no one met his release. They left it to the last minute to organise a deal, if no one came in for him and we got him off the wages this season that’s a plus. I’m not sure what else the club could do, if they turned down the offer and payed 6 months of wages why he sits around doing nothing with his value dwindling even more plus minus over a million in wages from the original negotiation. Plus there was a chance that the other club would’ve moved on to another target. I guess the club also thought they safeguarded themselves by adding a low release clause upon signing him to mitigate risk.
  4. If he cost £21m as reported we make a small accounting profit £1.5m why is the actual loss the bigger problem?
  5. Is it making a loss after a season has passed or has his book price been met
  6. Maybe not quite as straight cut as people assume. If the release clause wasn’t met by anyone they had to take what offer is on the table given they knew there needed to be major reductions and no incoming transfers. “And I'm satisfied, even though, to be honest, it wasn't easy this summer. It was difficult to find a way out of Leicester; they didn't make it easy for me. What I especially didn't understand was why it didn't work out despite my release clause”
  7. If you’re shit at your job, you’re not really in a position to moan about a lack of opportunities
  8. Needs to start winning more games and I guess it wouldn’t even be a topic up for discussion. For the record Bloomfield has come in at Oxford and is earning more points per game and doing a better job. So I don’t think it’s quite as clear cut as some imagine. We are certainly easier on the eye to watch but at the end of the day it’s a results business and accumulating a point a game doesn’t look like it will be enough when others at the bottom excluding Portsmouth are getting more points currently.
  9. Will he hit 500,000 views before he leaves.
  10. 14th when he was sacked. As much as I don’t like the bloke I don’t think he can be blamed for a points deduction and the shambles of a board giving the temporary gig to someone with no desire to touch it with a bargepole
  11. He still has a better record than both of them per minute per goal, and at 23 on less of a wage would’ve been a better option than both
  12. Yet the xPts over the last 6 games is 6.6, the 5th worst in the league
  13. Let’s not rewrite history King had a big effect or than period, before Marti was sacked the team was in 14th just off mid table, he earned 7 points from 6 games, not to dissimilar to now, go back a few more games and there wins against Derby and Ipswich. If we had the striker you mention that would’ve also helped his results. Kings results shouldn’t be taken into account, because he had no experience and didn’t want the job. Rowett has managed 30 games this season in the championship and is averaging less that a point a game, I hope our numbers improve but it’s a bit worrying that our points per game are very similar to the Oxford numbers from earlier in the season that resulted him getting the sack.
  14. But it might be because he has 3 goals in the league below he was signed for
  15. Nearly double the win rate 20 per cent win rate 37 per cent win rate for someone that offers nothing, it’s better than the alternative
  16. Apart from where it matters of course on getting 3 points
  17. Odd to say out of 2 strikers we have won 9/11 with Ayew Why isn’t it Vice versa, Daka creates so much space chases the ball etc. surely you would expect to see the opposite.
  18. Would’ve rather seen Evan’s develop they are both shit, but people talk like Ayew is so much worse
  19. Yet Ayew is somehow deemed a worse option despite 9 of our 11 wins Ayew starting.
  20. Yet has scored 40 percent more
  21. Scored less and the team have won considerably more games with Ayew starting, despite the waffle of what he creates and the spaces he occupies
  22. It’s no good just getting our defence tighter, if it’s at the expense of scoring/creating chances
  23. At least Dakas confidence hasn’t taken a hit
  24. Bet he didn’t cost £20m plus and £16m in wages,
