So a we didn’t have a striker score goals that season, he had a small window of scoring in 5 games and a equally poor run of 6 games before being dropped of not scoring resulting in 4 defeats as previously highlighted this was a player signed for the Prem. By the end of that season he had a blooper reel of misses and his confidence was shot

Szmodics Got 27 then 4 Piroe 19 last season, struggled for game time this season. Vydra over 20 and was also crap in the top flight

Or you could look at his final 6 starts in the championship before being dropped where he couldn’t score and made just 2 assists in a team scoring for fun pissing the league, which is more like the Daka we have seen during his career here. I think at the time this was the realisation for most he was dog shit, and unfortunately that’s pretty much been the case from what we have seen since, just a small purple patch scoring in 5 games in the championship despite currently playing nearly 2 seasons there from a 5 year deal, even though he was signed for a team that had just finished in the top 5 of the Premier league for the second time with high expectations.
