Is our value at its highest? Football club's value is heavily tied to its playing squad (assets) Stripping the squad of its best players to balance the books actually lowers the intrinsic value/enterprise value and sale price of the club. Any potential buyer will pay less for a club with a gutted squad because they know they’ll have to immediately spend tens of millions out of their own pocket to rebuild it.

I think we are very fortunate to have good youngsters (at this level) coming through because we were a successful premier league club when they came through the different age groups. If you are a parent now would you want you talented kid going to Leicester with so much uncertainty on the horizon.

I guess it would all depend on how desperate Top is to sell and how confident he is of promotion. If there is no risk on his part, why would you sell this season. When it’s likely we would be promoted. Depends on how bleak the finances are behind the scenes

Not only is king power battling its own financial turmoil. The same cash injections would be hit with 50% percent haircut because of SCMP. This is also a reason that makes us less desirable for new owners that want to inject money straight away as opposed to championship clubs for sale. The combination of League One restrictive rules and the club's massive Prem sized baggage makes us a far less attractive option to a wealthy buyer compared to a Championship club.

Total funding is probably over 500m and they have invested over 420m so you would think it would be a substantial amount with 320m investment in just the last 3 years

Daka started nearly half the games, and one thing that can’t be discredited is his willingness to run. I think there is more to it than he spent the majority of the season in isolation “leading to silly shots” Whilst I agree the strikers were shite. Fatawu had nearly double the shots of Mavididi, who should’ve been having more shots for exactly the same reasons you have highlighted. Maybe after a strong finish to the 23/24 season (hatrick etc) and being out injured and frustrated for much of the Prem season he got a taste for scoring sublime solo goals early last season and wanted to score more and be the main man.

It could also be argued that with two wingers that actually created big chances for strikers they might have actually scored more and been hated less.. 9 big chances created by Mavididi and Fatawu last season as opposed to 43 under Enzo by them both

So they could offer the amnount it costs to defend the case, which would be millions. As opposed to that dragging on and having to pay more on top depending on how the land lies with other case.

I don’t think it was a really impressive season. Started off ok but 5 goals and 2 assists from game week 22 onwards after he had recovered from his injury was far from amazing, as was the final 11 games with one goal and one assist. 2 long periods with a lack of goals. 1 in 16 midway and 1 in 11 at the end of the season. Murphy was used as an example of being surrounded “by garbage” and still getting good numbers which pretty much makes the argument of being surrounded by garbage a moot point.

Was it? one goal and one assist in his last 10 when he was really needed. Josh Murphy got 21 goals and assists combined in a shit team 24/25

People said that about Leeds and Sunderland. Given that they have a new manager it will depend on investment. Maybe they have learnt their lesson from last time
