  1. Chelsea v Liverpool maybe. Or perhaps I still have the mid 2000s Rafa v Jose games stuck in my head.
  2. Lookman scores 2 goals away at Napoli in a 3-0 win.
  3. The cons are things are pretty expensive here and the income tax is high (38% + 8% labour market contribution). Sales tax is 25% and don't get me started on the taxes on our vehicles. For all that, we have a very solid social safety net, higher education is free, very good efficient health service and housing is affordable. Less political turmoil than the UK. The population is 5.5m people compared to the 70m in UK so that has to be remembered.
  4. Been gone from England since 2016 (visited back sporadically but not more than a weekend or 4 days max). The poverty and absolute dire straits the country is in is shocking. Stagnating wages, out of control rent increases, litter everywhere, houses people live that aren't fit for purpose, the long waits for GP appointments and emergency hospital visits. A lot of these issues existed when I lived in England but it has been multiplied by 10 it seems. There isn't a short term solution for this. Multiple city councils (Birmingham, Nottingham etc) have gone bankrupt this year. New Labour government that I doubt can fix this large scale problems. Things are looking very bleak sadly.
  5. The most aesthetically pleasing footballer IMO is a 6'2 - 6'4 midfielder who's technically phenomenal and a physical monster. That's why I loved Paul Pogba and Yaya Toure so much because they were exactly that. Soumare will never be the level of those two but the basics are there for a coach to work on.
  6. I wouldn't say comfortably. We're all equally crap.
  7. Bournemouth have beaten Arsenal and Man City since they lost to us. Good time to have played them I guess.
  8. Ange will win enough games to stay in and around the top 4.
  9. My bad I misread the table
  10. We've got 3rd worst defence in the league. Only Ipswich and Wolves let in more.
  11. It was an obvious pretty straight forward red card. I don't understand what the problem is. Correct decision.
  12. I don't rate Cooper and he's not the long term solution for us but what's sad is that he'll get more appreciation from the Forest fans than our fans on Friday. We're doing OK atm so back the team and manager.
  13. I agree hrs definitely not the long term solution but if he keeps up up he will stay. The board don't have the foresight to take initiative and look for better. Cooper will stay until we are near certain relegation. And then the cycle starts again with rebuilding.
  14. This will be an ugly game. 2 of the least aesthetically pleasing teams in the league managed by 2 uninspiring managers. Notts Forest have a bit more about them so they'll be slight favourites.
  15. Need Man City and Notts Forest to win. We need to widen that gap because I don't trust this team and manager. We could easily go on a winless run and be caught up.
  16. Fatawu must start.
  17. However I do see the merit in having an English manager. Always thought it was odd that in international football players obviously can only represent the nation they're citizens of but somehow anyone can manage anyone irrespective of nationality.
  18. People still dislike/hate Germans? I thought English people had moved on from that.
  19. I like thi new Spurs team + manager. Much more likeable than the Arsenal team.
  20. He gives people Brendan Rodgers vibes which triggers them I guess
  21. Amazing how Gary O'Neil was ballin last season and now he's in the mud and could get fired soon. The huge swings in results is crazy.
  22. Schmidt as in Roger Schmidt? No chance he'd come to this shitshow.
  23. Up to the dizzy heights of 15th.
