He wouldn't play second fiddle to prime Jamie Vardy, which is fair enough. He's had a good career since he left us.

Pitch invasions are kind of tinpot tbh.

Premier league clubs to vote on scrapping VAR

Manchester City are the greatest ever Premier League side and Pep will surpass Ferguson, in due time. I'm old enough to remember Man Utd dominating but they won leagues with 75, 79 and 80 points. They won leagues with Berbatov winning the golden boot with 19 goals. Haaland is on 27 and will probably stat pad another 4 on Sunday Jamie Carragher is correct on this. 175 wins in 228 PL league games is ****ing insanity. Financial doping, 115 charges etc I get all that but it's not like Man Utd and Chelsea haven't spent a billion+.

I disagree. They've had enough opportunities to establish themselves. They're just a shit club, honesty. Sad because they could potentially be bigger and more relevant.
-
Peak Ricardo was just sensational. Our best RB. Ever. I'm sad that we will never see his peak again. Love this man

Tbh Norwich are a pathetic club. Countless opportunities to establish themselves as a proper Premier League club but they flop every time. Good stadium, solid fan base, nice unique kit etc. Smaller clubs like Brighton and Brentford have done so much better. If Norwich go up they will just stink the place out like they always do

I listen to an Athletic podcast yesterday about Newcastle, and the Newcastle representative on it was taking as if they were plucky little Hartlepool United who fluked their way to where they are. They had 71 points last season. They're currently on 57 points. They've lost 14 games this season. That's 37% of their league games. I don't have a strong opinion on Howe either way, but he's got some pretty good players. Isak, Botman, Bruno Guimaraea, Livramento, Tonali, Anthony Gordon, Harvey Barnes. I know they've had injuries but so have half the league.

It's not like life before VAR was wonderful. There are less bad decisions now than pre-VAR. -
Brighton will finish between 10th and 13th. I know that's amazing for a small club like them but Brighton get hyped like crazy.
-
We finished on 66 points in 20/21 and 62 points in 19/20. Aston Villa already got 68 points with 1 game left. I think Villa fans are unnecessarily obnoxious but they've definitely delivered and deserve their praise.

Pellegrini was the manager of Man City when we won it
-
Nobody will win the league until Pep leaves. Or unless an exceptional coach like Klopp arrives, and even he managed just 1 PL tittie in 8 years. Pep got a stranglehold on this league. Arteta is amazing and Arsenal have been unbelievably good but Pep is a juggernaut that cannot be beaten.
-
NO TEAM THREW GAMES AGAINST US. .... we only battered Swansea in the run-in. The other games were tight 1-0 wins. Even West Ham, who hate Spurs, took their game against us seriously, they almost beat us. Norwich and Newcastle got relegated and we only beat them by 1 goal. ****ing hate this revisionism
-
I thought so too initially but Luton are the smallest club to play in the Premier League since probably Barnsley in the late 90s. Even clubs like Reading and Huddersfield and Swansea had more aura about them.
-
Gotta respect Arsenal and Liverpool. They've both taken Man City as far as they can. 89 points would win the league most years but Man City are such a huge juggernaut, you gotta be near perfect to beat them.
-
Vardy and Ndidi. Vestergaard isn't good enough in the Premier League and I'm bored of Iheanacho. 7 years of Iheanacho is enough, get in the bin.
-
I haven't watched much of Chelsea. Is Cole Palmer actually good or is he a penalty merchant? People wanna squeeze him into the England starting 11.
-
Man City only 2 goals behind Arsenal I the GD. Perfect time for Haaland to stat pad against West Ham next week..he'll score 5 in a 6-0 win.
-
Forest and Everton with points deductions and they don't even need 30 points to stay up. Forest been stinking up the league since their promotion. Its a travesty they're still in the PL.
-
Unrelated, but Real Madrid got the best club anthem.
-
The responses show the people get emotional over this . They're both great achievements as you said, but to go unbeaten and win the treble is insane. This isn't Dortmund or Schalke or Hamburg or Monchengladbach, those are big clubs with history of winning domestically and in Europe. Leverkusen is a mid sized regional club.
-
Was debating this the other day but I finally think we found q bigger football achievement that us winning the league in 2016. Leverkusen could go unbeaten, win the DFP Pokal and Europa League. That is definitely a better achievement. Bear in mind, Leverkusen had never won the German title in their history so they're not this huge club that got rejuvenated. It's insane for a club their size to go the league season unbeaten and win a treble.

Congrats to Ipswich and big up McKenna. But a cautionary tale, because Southampton and Norwich were the last two clubs to do it, managed by Nigel Adkins and Paul Lambert. Adkins was immediately ditched for Poch, rightfully so, and is currently managing Tranmere in League Two. Paul Lambert bounced around 6 clubs since Norwich and they all hate him, most recently Ipswich. I'm not saying McKenna is a bad coach but sometimes the momentum just carries you through the leagues.

I'll tell you who I definitely wouldn't start in the Premier League Vestergaard Faes Daka Iheanacho
