  1. Um, it's all there if you take the time to read it. But just for your benefit (and i'll highlight the distinctions to make it a little easier for you) the point i'm making is that there is a perception that we have been wasteful in front of goal (especially in the boro and leeds games), but the reality is that we're actually really good at finishing. pretty simple, really. Go on read the posts again an you'll see that it all makes sense
  2. Or maybe his form has dropped because he's been struggling with something?
  3. My only issue with ndidi is that, as enzo said, he is more of a defensive midfielder - and yet he's been played in games where we really haven't needed that extra defensive body, but a more creative one.
  4. Home of the immortal lines (when asked how old youngest son is) - "Oh, he's 15 next week" When you have to lie but you just can't quite get over the line
  5. I think he's got more chance of turning into Brian Blessed....
  6. Much obliged - i'm sure there's a few of us around - keeping up the tradition of the old rockers, still rocking!
  7. Totally - it's in our own hands. We have a buffer if we lose or draw, for the chasing three every point dropped is two points they need to make up with one less game to do it in.
  8. It's a very isolated sample this though. Our shots to goal ratio is 10.9% (70 goals from 642 shots) - only preston have a better figure (12.4%) leeds are actually 7th with 9.2% Our rate is the same as Arsenal who are third best in the PL (behind newcastle and villa) Everton are dead last on 5.5%, Burnley are at 7%. So, generally speaking, our finishing is not a problem - we certainly aren't wasteful, even though it sometimes feels we are.
  9. Yeah, that's a foul - but again, does that make him 'awful' - does every decision have to be spot on to lift a ref's performance above awful?
  10. It seems likely, there's a reason why winning runs seldom go on this long. They looked beatable against us and against a young, mediocre chelsea side. And now the pressure (let's face it, they had nothing to lose up until the game against us) is on them it's going to be much harder to sustain the standard they've set.
  11. It couldn't have been that bad as i have no recollection of it. If you want refs that blow up at every tug or push, best of british to you. personally, the fewer calls the better is how i like my officials.
  12. Used to rehearse in the room next to them, and danced with Jarvis on the same dance floor that's featured in disco 2000 - them were the days. Seen them tonnes but i don't imagine they'll come to norway.
  13. I have various music projects, some old band stuff (brit pop era), some singer/songwriter stuff and my synth/electronica project. Get very few listens for any of it, but the synth stuff is particularly hard to get heard as i have no idea where to promote it as i actually know very little about that scene. It's not you average repetitive stuff, more inspired by prog rock type synth stuff. Would be great to get some feedback, or if any one has any tips about this genre. https://skfs.bandcamp.com/
  14. Allowing a bit of shirt pulling doesn't make him 'awful'. Especially if he calls it the same for both teams. Considering how bad the other PL refs have been, i think i'm happy to give Tierney a 'pass' - at the end of the day, he didn't do anything to make the game about him.
  15. This certainly is crazy - even though we have scored more goals than any other team in the football league and have one of the highest shot conversion rates - our finishing is really bad.
  16. Leeds seem to have gone quite strong, hopefully that might impact them in their derby this weekend.
  17. My collection, around 1300, i believe.
  18. Well it just seems an odd conclusion to come to based on how well we actually played in the two games you mention (both home supports were deadly silent until the last 10 minutes), and disregarding the fact that we've not just been decent but outstanding for the vast majority of away games. let's face it they did nothing against 10 men for 35 minutes, it wasn't exactly us wilting under the fearsomeness of their home support, rather just that we wilted through being knackered. Not sure why you think cov are such a powerhouse that our form would inexplicably go out the window. I mean there's glass half empty, but this is like not having a glass at all.
  19. Well, no. You can't prove that we're shit away from home by accepting that we've got the best away record of all 92 clubs. It just doesn't work like that. We've played away 22 times in all competition and won 16, the games we've lost were to boro (a worldie free kick), coventry (held on for 80 odd minutes with ten men), liverpool (with our reserves, they are also quite good) and Leeds (lucky deflections) - explain to me again how we can't handle playing in front of away fans?
  20. Don't you mean 'Phillip'? what a pretentious twat. And it's a fair observation - how he's playing in the prem is beyond me. Poor man's Ormondroyd.
  21. I like that he offers something that no one else really offers -carrying the ball through the middle. I think tonight he suffered because he never seemed to have anyone with him and then just getting stuck
  22. Despite having the best away record in all four leagues, and having now beaten a near full strength PL team?
  23. I think some people on here over-estimate the quality in the bottom half of the prem - i mean this is a team that recently went undefeated winning six from seven, against a severely reduced city side.
  24. OPTA ranking gave it to Jakob.
