His middle name is Heinz? Get him in

Bit bored of Chelsea now but that fee is reasonable enough and hopefully whoever we're getting as part of the deal isn't a complete donkey. I think he's great and Maresca obviously knows how to get a tune out of him but I'm not sure Chelsea fans will take to him.

I agree with Clive Tyldesley's sentiments but he's going to do himself a mischief here -

Oh mate, enjoy that — one I wanted to go to, love Bloc Party but no shame in admitting I'd be there mainly for Friendly Fires.

Eni Aluko would make a disastrous commentator. Itv truly are the pits (Coronation St and Ally McCoist aside). -

Italy have now become the first team in the history of the EUROs to have 10 outfield players on the pitch who are all 5'8" -
In International football as a thing they are one of the better sides with one of the best talent pools, however you want to carve it up. Your argument about Danny Ward being an international, therefore winning caps for any nation (even good ones) being a moot point is just a bit daft!

It's not what it was in the 90s/early 00s but the Italian league is absolutely not "poor."

I like Justin but Kristiansen is 5 years his junior and, in my opinion, just as competent at defending (if not, more so). He came in as a relatively inexperienced full back who started brilliantly and put his head above the parapet a lot more than many others at club could be bothered to during our slide towards the Championship, at a time when it sounded like a few of our players made him feel as unwelcome as possible. He threw in some shockers (I was at Elland Road) but also some blinders – I find it genuinely astonishing people are writing off a 21 year old based on what they saw of him in Brendan Rodgers and Dean Smith's 22/23 side. Especially given he's just gone off and had a great season in a very decent league, he's not coming back the same player, and he's not coming back into the same environment.

Yeah I think the Swiss will beat these. Put your house on a comfortable Italy win. -
This was good, didn't really answer anything that wasn't already known but always a good laugh: ------------------------ Have not heard good things about the new series of The Bear but I don't know if it's now just become a victim of its own success, expectation absolutely Trudy Roofe.

Fair enough, so your argument is built on discounting his time at clubs he's been demonstrably good at. Fair enough!

He's just had a really positive season for a side who qualified for the Champions League?
