  1. Sorry but a flick through this geezer's posts and he's an obvious bot "The Filbert Street"
  2. Just a few bullet points from me guys, feel free to discuss
  3. Nice little mooch around a quiet Leicester today – Salmon, TTL, Castle, Kings Head. Still maintain that the Salmon refurb deserves a bomb going off in the Black Country but the beer was great and all other gaffs spot on today. TTL doing cask for £3.50(!) on a Sunday deserves more people flocking to it.
  4. Not sure Ryan, why don't you ask ChatGPT to answer the questions you've asked it?
  5. What do you think @ramadaone, who's your pick?
  6. Interior nothing to write home about mate, feels like a weird pop up, but the choice and price is unparalleled for me, especially where they're based. Never heaving either!
  7. Did a quick one in Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese then strolled to The Duke for a couple, train back at 9.05 unfortunately. Unbelievable vibe to London boozers on a Friday with folk spilling out onto the streets and just enjoying it, I think it's bloody fantastic.
  8. Jus tucked into pint number 8 at the Pelt Trader Been before but for any lads wanting a good priced bev in bloody financeville away from your Hugos your Miles it's class - owned by the Euston / Piccadilly / Victoria Tap lot, can get a cask (from a top tier range) for under a 5er and the crowd isn't full of goblins They've got Bad Kitty on for £5.50 a pint and I'd pay that in ****ing Leeds about 10 mins from where it's made
  9. Now in the Kings Arms on Newcomen St on a Long Man 3.8%er and **** me she's flying down
  10. Tesco Finest Fryatt sounds class imqho
  11. This bloody Harvey's Mild man, gerrit coming out my taps
  12. As a 1990 born fan... Best: O'Neill Most Liked: Pearson by an absolute mile Most Disliked: Rodgers or Cooper Worst: Holloway, Taylor, RvN
  13. Spurs will win another trophy before Arsenal do imo
  14. How about you shut your ****ing mouth
  15. I'm eyeing up the mild like Jordan Ayew is eyeing up his free Parker pen for signing up to SAGA
  16. Good gaff this, worth a look imo! Now shamefully in my first ever Royal Oak visit on the Harvey's Best and what a gaff what a drink
  17. In the Roebuck, Elephant & Castle / Borough, what a bloody lovely building
  18. Yeah brother it didn't strike me as indicative of how it usually is but walking in to see all three cask clips turned around and glasses over the handles of loads of draft options didn't look great on a Saturday aha
  19. Oh right, unmitigated success then
  20. I'm not saying the squad was good – but it was capable of staying up. The rest of this is all a bit hypothetical, no? He didn't get sacked. He had 30+ games, he made us worse, he took us to the third tier. Absolute shite.
  21. We were a mess behind the scenes but Holloway had 32 league games and a squad (although limited) that was more than good enough to stay up. He was also quite well backed in the Jan window. Incredible how easy he gets off the hook with some folk.
  22. Too young to remember Pleat or McLintock. Toss up between Taylor, Holloway, Sousa, Cooper and RvN for me in terms of how desperate they all felt.
  23. Went in Babelas before Christmas last year and thought it was pushing as good as it's ever been, three varied cask, nice staff, good crowd. Went in on Sat, all three cask off, Guinness off. Whole bar area looked like the place was about to close down. Staff still friendly enough and I'd go back, hope it was just an off day
  24. You don't mention this enough for my money imo!
