  1. What's the opposite of the freedom of Leicester? This guy has earned that.
  2. It is unfathomable that this failure is still employed anywhere, let alone at this club.
  3. The writing has been on the wall. I couldn't bring myself to take the 20/1, but it was an obviously good decision for anyone that did. 🍻
  4. Don't care about promotion. If we do go down we would have to lean fully into our youth and development setup to get me back on board. Sell all saleable assets such as Fatawu, Khannouss, etc then mutual contract terminations for the rest of the first team failures (as we can't have the toxicity they bring in and around our club anymore) in order to be able to afford to keep our homegrown saleable assets (Nelson, Page, Monga, etc. Stolarczyk Aluko. Nelson. Wilson-Brown. Thomas Page. Braybrooke. Thomas. Alves. Monga. Evans. Subs: Bausor Joseph Choudhury Cartwright Golding Marcal Popov Opoku Pennant Several others I've probably missed. Any notable ones? We could add a few young hungry football league players and if Lascelles or someone similar was up to and for the challenge of staying and captaining them then they could be considered. God forbid we have a team with a similar age of journeymen in League One. That would be phoenix club time.
  5. Yea, you're right, I missed the games in hand for Portsmouth and Charlton have 1 too. It's basically a 5 way shootout between us, West Brom, Blackburn, Norwich & Oxford (that just beat us) to avoid the last 2 relegation spots. 😰🤞
  6. For me they are both more battle hardened and better equipped for a relegation scrap. Hopefully one of them ends up a bigger basket case than us though 🙏🤞🍀
  7. Four worse teams? Are you quite sure? Blackburn, West Brom, Portsmouth, Norwich and Charlton (who just beat us at home) are our competition. I'd say we are favourites to go down without a radical uptick in performance now. I'd only fancy us to beat Portsmouth out of that lot. Not to mention we just lost to Oxford who are below all of them.
  8. Got lucky again, but still puts us level on points with West Brom in 22nd (who are much better equipped for a relegation scrap than us) and is a new low in the clubs history. Dare I ask how the KP Nutters are spinning this?
  9. It's going to be 9 points which will put is in 22nd, 3 points behind West Brom & Blackburn. Any less and we got lucky again.
  10. Nathan Dyer - without him getting himself knocked out against Villa that time, we would never have won the league. Huth. Izzet. Jordan James.
  11. Hopefully that's not possible as he's made it clear that isn't what he wants at present, so, if they hang him out to dry and try to use him as a scapegoat, that might actually be the thing that finally has the KP Nutters take pause for thought and turn on Top. 🙏 Every cloud an' all that... 😅
  12. I reckon we're going to bumble on with our fingers crosses and a skeleton crew lead by a self-professed youth team coach who isn't ready to manage a championship relegation scrap and then be all overcome with shock at how we could possibly get relegated with this wage bill/squad. Would be the most King Power & Rudkin thing to do.
  13. Could be exactly what we need to stabilise our 'defence' and develop Nelson (he better not replace him). The big IF is if his body is still up to it and if he can get and stay match fit quick, which hasn't looked likely since his injury. I imagine it will be dumb luck rather than due diligence on our part if he does so fingers crossed we get lucky again 🤞 🙏 🍀
  14. That's not match fit and isn't likely to be for a while as he was frozen out during pre-season as they tried and failed to flog him and has barely played since.
  15. Well, that should cover 1 week of Joe Aribo's loan...
  16. Just another in a long line of bumbling incompetence from those supposedly running the club.
  17. I don't think anyone is attacking the player directly. Bar stating unfavourable facts about him. Think this thread is more of a joke at the seemingly inevitable outcome of this signing.
  18. This would be fair if we could believe any thought has gone into this signing and it was a good faith attempt to improve the squad, but we are way past that now. If you're not a casual observer you know that this is just a lazy, last minute panic signing from two duds in Glover and Rudkin that should have been sacked years ago and are now just trying to look like they are actually doing their jobs.
  19. World sports shittest recruitment team don't know any left backs and Southampton don't have any spare unfortunately.
  20. Imagine a midfield of Hamza and Aribo. There'll be people hanging from the gantry...
  21. Just what we needed - another geriatric that's even slower and less energetic than Soumare to hamper the progress of Page whilst on a Premier League wage. Not a single Southampton fan has a good word to say about him. I'm now convinced Rudkin and Glover only know 2 squads worth of players between them. Those squads being Leicester and Southampton.
  22. Only 18 and not match fit again, but at least this one sounds like he's not total shit.
  23. It's literally like the end of the transfer window comes as a shock to them every time. There must be some form of collective brain damage throughout our executive suite.
  24. Why are we exclusively looking at players that still require a full pre-season to get match fit? Glover and Rudkin are literally dumb and dumber. Thickest, laziest, most unimaginitive recruitment team in world sports.
