  1. I could throw up at the thought of that. If it was up to me we'd just pay off the contracts of anyone we can't get another club to take on a free transfer and take whatever financial penalties are thrown at us. How can a player that you can't give away be good enough for the EPL anyway? We somehow have a squad over half full of them... Eurgh!
  2. Yea, I was thinking a developmentally challenged golden retriever... Minus the retrieving... unless it's out the back of the net.
  3. Fittingly laughable for us, but I doubt one of the conditions was a bumper 3 year deal.
  4. To be fair though, training with his dog is ideal preparation for playing with Faes...
  5. The decision to renew his contract for more than 12 months is one of the stupidest decisions in a looong line of stupid decisions at this club. I cannot stomach watching him (or Faes) again next season, yet by the end of this one we won't even be able to give him away due to the wild disconnect between his ability and his wages.
  6. We need to put everybody up for a free transfer. If I see another team with Faes, Vestergaard, Justin, Ayew, Reid, Soumare, etc next season I will not be able to contain my anger to my own house.
  7. More of the same lads. πŸ˜‚ Van Nistelrooy apparently.
  8. "They can't just sit back and carry on taking it like they are" Au contraire...
  9. 🀒 We need to know exactly who is giving these contracts out.
  10. How long until Vestergaard and Faes' contracts are up? I literally cannot stomach another season of them.
  11. The writing is on the wall. He will never make it as a successful manager and most definitely not here. What are we waiting for... again.
  12. Now I bet we change nothing from this defensive setup and try (but fail) to 'stay in the game'. Woe is us.
  13. Utterly pathetic. Scrambling, panicking and looking to the officials to save them before the ball was even in the net.
  14. C'mon Leicester! 12th time lucky!
  15. I wish they did this type of vox pop with Leicester fans. I bet they tried, but couldnt find Cliff.
  16. So... do we go to shit straight away or play well for a half then go to shit?
  17. It's OK lads, we're going to be fine now. We've sacked the two coaches that were obviously the problem...
  18. I'm still hoping it's the worst case scenario, but my pessimism is more than often more right than wrong 😩 I just thought if was useless, deluded and desperately trying to escape accountability for my failings how would I think we would get out of the Championship - I know, a load of veteran EPL mercenaries will get us back there. πŸ‘
  19. Next season's probable team under another self-imposed or otherwise transfer embargo, if our current hierarchy of useless, accountability dodging middle management promoted way above their station gets their way. Stolarczyk Justin, Coady, Vestergaard, Thomas Skipp Winks Reid (Ageing free transfer*) Ayew Vardy (*rather than Alves or keeping BEK like we should do)
  20. This much is obvious. Stubbornly sticking with the ageing veterans when we haven't scored at home in months was the death knell.
  21. We have just sold one of this years championship top scorers and have no striker left as Vardy will not likely be up for another championship season, on top of a heinous recent recruitment history that doesn't suggest we are likely to adequately replace them. We also now have a new raft of disinterested not quite good enough EPL mercenaries in Ayew, Reid, Skipp, Okoli, on top of the rest that we already had and couldn't offload (Soumare, Faes, Daka, whomevers contract isn’t up). We got lucky and failed upwards with Maresca, so unless lightning strikes twice I would expect a drift towards mid table mediocrity, but could realistically get sucked into a Championship relegation battle which almost none of our squad are mentally equipped for. If we get another manager who will follow RVN's lead of stubbornly trusting the ageing veterans Ayew, Reid, etc, I fear for us. If we get the right manager who brings back Alves, Braybrooke, starts putting Nelson, Monga, etc into the match day squad and focusing on maximising our youth setup and the future then we have one last chance to revive like a phoenix from the flames. We don't have a single member of staff at our club that gives me confidence that we will do the intelligent thing though.
  22. With free beer and donuts probably.
  23. They've finally done it. We finally have nothing left to build from. Not a single member of staff or player outside of the youth setup worth hanging onto.
  24. Beyond contemptible. That last 6 home games stat is the worst I've ever seen.
