I really hope there's still someone intelligent left at this club that can convince him to follow the path of Maddison, Barnes, KDH, Bellingham, Bowen, Eze, etc by fighting his way into the Championship team rather than just getting lost in a big 6 youth setup. Given the current leadership I fear it's more likely we'll let him slip away for pennies compensation whilst paying Bobby Reid to play his position next season though...

At this point I want us to institute a policy that 50% of our first team squad have to come through our academy and development squad and let the chips fall where they may. We have the best facilities available for youth development so let's start relying on them rather than mercenaries and ageing journeyman. We just need more competent management to get the best out of them now.
