this isn’t necessarily true. there’s no point getting players in if they don’t deem them to be better than what we already have. If someone then becomes available last couple of days who is within our budget and is an upgrade then absolutely we should go for it? why would they suddenly become available last couple of days? Well, quite frankly, they may have been holding out for a better move. That’s more common than we realize.. also, the selling club may have been trying to get someone in before letting them go- few clubs want holes in their squad. there’s so many variables that go into acquiring players and we are not an attractive option for some players right now..

to my knowledge there are two different transactions that go on… the transaction to obtain the players services ‘ facilitated’ by the agent that the club pays and a weekly fee that the player pays to retain the services and representation of the agent, usually a percentage of their salary.

so im sorry to be a Boblet.. yes he does earn 80k a week, but agent gets 10-20% and then tax on top of that is 50%. So he probably takes home ONLY 25-30ka week. poor fella. but year, he does earn 80k per week.

you’re not making sense. but just for clarification, we are all saying our management are terrible and that is proven by buying Wout. He has been a terrible player for us. No one is saying we will get to the premier league next season.
