The timing of this all is terrible as well… just when the players seem to be ( somewhat) getting it together.. I mean, if this sort of thing doesn’t distract a player, then nothing will…. We saw how much it effected the players at Wednesday and it’s only fair to think it will ours as well. but let’s just say it’s all down to to the most atrocious piece of mismanagement and decision making to try and keep us in line with a global employee structure.. how could anyone even possibly begin to think this was a smart move? How did that person ever get a management position? If you are told you are going to be paid on a certain date , you will make plans, and when that’s that’s changed, it’s terrible management and a bad way to treat your staff. Period.

I think I’m just desperate to see our striker contribute something… and he was very prolific actually when he last played on this division. but yeah, our midfield seems to be somewhat settled so there isn’t much of a clamor to change it.. might be looked at a bit more when Ramsey returns to full fitness. I’m all for giving Antonio a contract but we’d be silly to think he can play 90 minutes straight off that bat, so we might need another option

Whilst he hasn’t played a senior game in over a year, he has been placed in some u21 games so I don’t think he is THAT unfit he also played for Jamaica in the summer.

I don’t disagree with what you’re saying… but i know it could still be a few weeks before we can get a no.9 in..

because it would be the better option. Ayew has no pace and makes an awful no.9.ayew does sometimes pull players into the game with his passing and so I’d be interested to see them swap for a game. I just think having a more mobile no.9 would benefit the team in general

Is it worth trying BDCR as a no.9? I know that sounds absurd, but it’s more to do with what the other options are…
