i assume we would be financially worse off to pay him off as all the money would come out of this years budget. We’d be better off running down his contract if paying him off was being considered. The problem of course is that he is being well paid so there’s no benefit for him to mutually terminate his contract to find another club. the issue is that we keep playing him.

I used to work in the pediatric intensive care unit at the Royal. there was a certain young girl who was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of Cancer. Muzzy was her favorite player. He didn’t just meet her for the publicity, he spent countless hrs at her bedside. Often being the only one there. When I say he was a legend, I mean it -he was a legend. He didn’t have to do that.

THIS MAY NOT BE RELEVANT AT ALL.. Charlotte FC today announced the appointment of Brian McDermott as special adviser (former reading and Leeds manager). He’s going to be overseeing recruitment. That WAS a job that, to my knowledge, Steve Walsh was doing. It would suggest he is leaving. I’d love it if he could get involved with recruitment!

A few observations from that video.. 1.id forgotten how good Heskey was at passing/ crossing 2. Guppy was by far the best crosser of the ball I have ever seen play for Leicester. No debate. 3. Izzet was very good with his head. 4. we’ve had some brilliant players over the years…

I think you might be right… but I remember peoples mind being made up about previous managers only to be proven wrong. my mind is still a bit more open to how this could all pan out..

im not saying we were great, but we had 65% possession with 14 shots and 7 on target compared to their 8 and 3 on target. we also missed two 1on1s - JJ and Fatawu. as uninspiring as we were at times, we were the better team. Not often we get to say that!

ifs a good job that our plan to go straight back up is going well then!

Interesting thing about today is we also missed two 1 on 1 chances. JJ clean through - straight At the keeper and Abdul skyed it.. I wonder if those had gone in, there’d be a different tone in here tonight towards Marti and some others..
