I must admit, I thought it was just a Leicester thing. The adoration for Vardy.. I thought it was just us who loved him. I never understood the global reach and impact Vardy has reached. I’m just so delighted to see even the Cremonese fans revere him and be excited to sign him. im just so delighted by it all and the media attention he has had this season.

i actually came on to say I think the unanswered punches probably contributed to the stoppage. In any combat sport, if you cover up and stop fighting back, they usually stop the fight. It didn’t help of course that at the end of the 10th Parker didn’t even know where he was.

it was a financial decision. He was wanting a large contract that we didn’t want to pay. And he didn’t want the one we offered..

Alves didn’t take his chance although it’s fair to say you can’t be judged on a half of football, but the fact he has been loaned to a league 1 club should explain everything

aluko, 18, page, 17, monga 16.. all have played this season. I think that’s decent.

I think it was a great fight. A very gritty performance by Wardly. But make no mistake, he’ll get absolutely eaten alive by Usyk. id love him to get a few more fights in before facing him, but he’s not going to have that luxury.. Usyk will probably retire after this fight so I suppose Wardly has to take the opportunity..

oh I agree with this completely. But the point I was making is that he is at least playing the young players. That’s one stick we can’t hit him with..

not many other championship teams have a 16 year old playing..

why do you think we got Marti in the first place? No one decent wanted it! He certainly wasn’t a candidate who was top of the list because of his outstanding work or anything like that.

why would any of those come to us? We have crap players and will give them no money to spend and we have a points deduction hanging over us. Marti is on a low wage too. well just be back to square one again in a few months none of them can polish a turd. No manager can.

so it brings you back to the absolute mess we are now is as a club. Anyone with half a clue will steer well clear of us. We are not in the same position as we were when Maresca joined us. Worse squad, worse morale and less financial backing. sacking Marti now is likely to just mean we will repeat the cycle and be sacking someone else at the end of the season after failing to back them and then costing us more money each time that frankly would be better off being given to a manager to strengthen a piss poor squad.

having experienced professionals in the team is different to having leaders. Even our captains.. they are experienced pros, but they are not leaders. Vardy was a leader, even if not a captain. His drive his determination his hustling, it was all very inspirational and we miss that. Instead we have Ricky who is a consummate professional but is somewhat quiet and reserved in his personality.. Hamza.. for various reasons I don’t consider him to be a leader.. Winks is too quiet and it’s not very motivating to have someone as a leader who doesn’t want to be here. we’ve for ‘ experienced professionals’ but we seem devoid of character and motivation..

I just don’t know what the alternative is? as a fanbase, we seem to want this dynamic manager who’s full of ideas and intuition…. But why would a manager like that want to come to us? we are a very average team sitting in mid table and a points deduction hanging over us. besides, we’ve got crap players who are full of mistakes and egos and why would any manager with a bit of ability want to walk into this mess? unless we promise a manager 50m to spend in January, no one decent will touch us with a barge pole…
