This ref doing Tigers no favours.
-
I heard this auf Deutsch
-
It's fairly boring, this. Kick, kick, kick, kick, kick, fumble, scrum, penalty, kick, kick, kick, kick, kick. Caterpillar rucking. Eugh.
-
We haven't seen a shitey 2nd half collapse at Bournemouth like this since....since... well, we don't talk about it because it has never happened
-
It staying like this puts Notts Forest and Everton under further pressure, so it is win / win.
-
Was CONVINCED they were going to give that peno to LiVARpool there.
-
Sky should stop showing slo mo replays of every single incident, or just show them picture in picture, because they keep missing the action.
-
Has Mike Dean, or for that matter, any Refpundit they have on, ever disagreed with the officials, like, ever?
-
I think McGinns looked more like a rumbunctuous Glaswegian greeting , whereas Ederson's kick was aimed at least in the general direction of the ball.
-
It's a pen but Nuñez was airbourne before the contact.
-
The getting up in anger, then realising he would do more damage if he fell back down clutching his leg, was quite some sight to behold. Obvs 5 minutes later he's running around no bother.
-
Really noticeable today that we present hardly any threat from those just outside the box free kicks. I'm not going to criticise KDH (see the KDH thread ) as he's on the park mostly for other stuff, but we maybe need to let someone else have a go. Let Vestergaard have a go, he can't do any worse.
-
I don't understand the harsh criticism of KDH in here. He hit the post, he was part of a lot of our good stuff going forward. Also, it's pretty hard to shine when the ref won't penalise the opposition for doing greco-roman wrestling on you down by the corner flag. It's also difficult to shine when you are trying to link with Mavididi who was busy on holiday in Coyles pocket. By all means disagree with me, but I thought KDH had a solid away performance today and he was far from the cause of lost points today.

There were several instances of players being grappled, arms around them, and no foul given. In and out of the box. The one on KDH in the corner the worst example. He missed a shirt pull on Fatawu on the edge of the box, 5 yards in front of him, probably because he was busy congratulating himself for denying Vardy a penalty (I thought the initial tackle was not a penalty, but second tackle on Vardy looked like a foul). He stopped the game and pointed to his head for the Hull player who had an ankle injury. It felt like the opening 20 minutes of the second half had about 3 minutes of play. He stopped the game repeatedly. And I accept that Seri on a yellow had the ball kicked at him from three yards, but just before that, Seri had jumped in front of the free kick to block it. Should have been a second yellow. It's a second yellow all day in the Prem. Very, very poor, in what is turning into a season of this stuff. -

The positives: Vardy - GOAT for a reason. He was very good before he scored - causing trouble, holding it up, harrying, running in behind. And he scored two, one of which was classy. He looks back to his best. Fatawu - what a shift. He ran and ran, he caused trouble, he tackled in some important places, and he laid on a great assist. Class. Vestergaard - The best of our defence and the only one I didn't have palpitations about when playing it out. Ndidi - made a key tackle in our box, won some balls on the ground and some headers. We looked less likely to be bullied with him on instead of Yunus, and we will need him in the run in. The strugglers: Wout Faes - Oh dear. Booked, brain farted a gift of a goal to the opposition and looked like he needed to be hooked at half time. Improved second half, but that's a low bar. Justin - it pains me to say thay he looked like a weak spot and a lot of their threat came down his side. He played some daft passes which gifted the opposition the ball in dangerous spots. Still, his speed was needed. Mavididi - he might need to turn the light on, as it will be a bit dark in Coyle's pocket. Gave away a pen where he might have fouled the guy earlier in his massive unchallenged run. Not much product going forward. His form has fallen off a cliff. -

This is what Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall had to look like, before the imbecile of a ref would give a foul on him: -
Good point. Hard game. Could have nicked it. Awful, just awful officiating. A break, and some returning players, will help us, as did Ipswich chucking it. Still on the optimistic bus.
-
People saying we have no attacking sharpness - we've hit the post, had chances for Yunus and Vardy and had Yunus chopped down as he was steaming into the box. I think we've attacked ok. Certainly not as abject as some are making out.
-
Agree re Wout - not his day, needs hooked. Was going to say Yunus was a let down the first half hour, especially that shot when Vardy was in space, but he's grown into the game and I'd leave him on if he isn't injured. Hermansen, Vardy, Vestergaard, KDH and Fatawu very good, though, and I thought we had the better of the game, so far. Ref not the best so far.

The pitch is full of divots. But enough about Hull City.
-
Hull City are organised and they work. They aren't where they are in the League by accident. But they were really lucky to beat us earlier this season and we are more than capable of handing them one. Gwon you blues.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Vacamion replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
So let me get this straight. If we go up, we'll be deducted points at the start of next season in the EPL. If we don't go up, the EFL will deduct points off us in the Championship next season and we'll be more likely to incur further punishments because our financial ceiling will come down. It's also possible that a promotion might be snatched off us by a never before seen tag team deduction between the EPL and the EFL. WTF? Did someone assassinate the monks? -
Followed by a leveller-upper of a decision.
