Great defensive performance and won a penalty. The goal we conceded was nothing to do with him and he made a great block. Can't really ask for more. Good on him. He's turned it around. As far as passing stats are concerned, I was a bit baffled at Blackburn giving him the space to stand still with his foot on the ball, at times. I suppose they had sussed that pressing us too hard too often would just lead to us passing it around and through and going up the other end and hurting them.

Wilfred DiCanio.

Cant believe we aren't steaming towards the goal line and trying to win corners, as Blackburn seem to be fairly awful at defending them.

Keeper not coming out for crosses. I feel Blackburn's pain.
-
KDH, Ndidi and Stephy hardly involved so far.
-
KDH got poked in the eye in the celebrations.

That's awful defending. Thanks, anyway.

Prematch thread with 3 pages. It used to be 10 to 15 pages when Rodgers was picking Ward and playing unchanged sides after dire displays. It's a good sign.

Wes Morgan's face. Penalty. That is all

West Ham and Newcastle both won 2-0 and they are both competing to be last game on MOTD.

Don't blame VAR. We are Leicester fans and VAR contributed to one of the best results of our lives. Blame the fuds in the van. The technology is there, the footage is there, they just can't use it properly.

Not a chance. He's getting some time to go to Specsavers.

Whoever made that "human error" needs to be relieved of the possibility of doing it again.

Some Scousers posting some fairly unhinged and dark stuff about finding the ref. Predictable and regrettable.

Still, they were probably owed a few. They don't get called LiVARpool for nowt.

It looked onside live. It looked onside in the replay. It really really looked onside in the screenshots on the internet you see with lines drawn I just don't understand how the review took 10 seconds and no lines were drawn.

My posting history will reveal that I'm very far from a Liverpool fan, but if that all happened to us we'd all be utterly fuming. The disallowed goal for offside is just unbelievable. The reffing performance in the round doesn't look right and Klopp will do well to just grunt non-commitally in the post match interviews, and move on.

Jeez that was barely a foul, let alone a yellow.
-
McIlroy going against Cantlay tomorrow would be delish.

Well MOTD are not going to be short of discussion points, tonight, are they?
-
Who is in the VAR booth? The Flash?
-
That looked onside. Not showing the lines is a bit dodgy.

Talking about his intentions is pointless. If you go over the ball with force, you aint in control and you endanger an opponent. Red.
