There were more security / bar staff / flag wavers than there were people in the crowd last night. It's such a shame. It was US$17 for last night's game. They should make us tourists pay for (or subsidise) local people to get in. If we've come out here, we should be able to stretch to fund a bit extra for the good of the game. And they should give cheap seats to school kids. That's better than empty stands and who knows, they might grow up to be paying attendees.

Didn't know until I saw an advert recently that the golf brand is pronounced "title-ist" and not "tit-lies-t". Luckily I don't golf and hadn't had cause to say the word, but could have been embarrassing if I'd said out loud the word as it sounded in my head.

The England team flew out on Friday morning and landed late Friday afternoon, Barbados time. Banks will refund genuine frauds, albeit usually after a lengthy investigation. The problem is that there is soooo much fraud, and so many people are, regrettably, "at it" (claiming genuine spend as fraud by others) that they have to investigate fairly rigorously, and that takes time. Mail interception, card skimming and phishing (people clicking on links to fake sites and inputting their details) are some of the main ways that thus type of fraud occurs. Sadly, it is remarkably common. Every bank has teams and teams of people dealing with this stuff.

It was better in the old days. Brian Little, Marc McGhee, Martin O'Neill and Gary Megson all show that the concept of managers leaving LCFC for suppisedly greener pastures elsewhere is entirely new and NEVER EVER happened in the past, no Sir-ee.
