I was impressed that the Stadium played "Major Tom" by Peter Schilling after the penalty was scored. Love a bit of Neue Deutsche Welle. -
Martin O'Neill was being shouted at by fans six games in. The VegLord will have hecklers six seconds into his first pre-match interview. I don't foresee a lot of patience from the fanbase.

It's a bit sh1t that this has been widely reported for a week, is the subject of a Telegraph headline and yet zero communication about who is in charge from the Club. LCFC's official position is that Gary Rowett is still the manager.

Well done Scotland. They are going to think they can win the World Cup, now Not sure sitting back and defending was the best strategy, those last 20 mins were a bit painful. If only Haiti could finish they'd be half decent.
-
Fairly even game. TV Director / Cameraman seemed unable to keep up with the game at times. Ref a bit soft. Haiti will feel they've not been getting decisions.

Marcin Wasilewski would have had a lifetime ban, if he played with this ref in charge. -

It's a red card party. Well done FIFA. -
In mathematics, some corners of linguistics and classical logic, two negatives can make a positive. In that case there are a truckload of positives.

Nuts, if true. They were rock bottom when he took over, and the fight had gone out of them. It was a near impossible job to keep them up. They were visibly much better under his management, with tons more fight and bite, and they picked up a few results, too. I'd have thought he was in a good position to get them back up.

BBC up here (Reporting Scotland) suggested that they have really struggled to shift tickets for Scotland's opener, tickets are still available for sale and they recently gave 1,000 tickets to local schoolkids.

There should be protests and boycotts about the Somali ref denied entry. But there won't be.

Stokes is 35. What TF is he doing still going to nightclubs ? -
Has anyone done Soy Hodgson, yet?

Brussell Fartin aka Terry Vegetables aka Neil Quornock. I know we are at a low ebb, so can't be picky, but really? That guy? He would have a massive job on his hands to win over a skeptical fanbase. Any hiccups in the first few games, the crowd will be straight on his back. I think this will end in disappointment and recrimination.

This, about the slop that TNT's coverage served up last night, is bang on. https://www.football365.com/news/champions-league-final-coverage-arsenal-psg-tnt-fletcher

It was disbelief, I think. Time really did seem to stand still. Then it went batshit bonkers and I ended up quite a distance from where I'd been before Claridge hit it. A great day.

This. All day long. It's not like they lived at opposite ends of a castle - they shared a modest newbuild 4 bed detached gaff. If I get out different tea towels or buy new socks, Mrs Sherlock Holmes here will know about it and probably pass comment. Even if you ignore the RV and the Jag (yeah I know), Murrell got a FIVE GRAND coffee maker and a set if 200 QUID salt and pepper shakers , and Nicola professes to having had no knowledge. i think her "no comment" interview with the police will be thrown at her a lot in coming weeks. If she wasn't already done in public life, she is now. Edit - just seen on the news that the luxury salt and pepper grinders cost TWO GRAND
