Lot of pent up anger coming out in this thread. Somewhat understandable, but I’ve seen plenty worse from us this season. We dominated large periods, without creating much in the way of clear cut chances - largely because Millwall frequently had 11 men within 25 yards of their goal. They are fighting off relegation in front of a vociferous home crowd - it’s never an easy place to go. We’ve been much the better team, but do need to show a bit more guile. I think we’ll go on to win.

Leeds still 0-0.
-
Looks like we’re trying to create the perfect chance. We should start shooting from the edge of the area - they’ve got so many in the box it’s likely to take a deflection
-
Never a yellow. Ref is scared of the crowd
-
Millwall looking up for it, as you’d expect in their position. Crowd too.

Got my years mixed up! Just checked wiki for a more accurate answer - says bonus knockout round prize money for Conference League is: Knockout round play-offs: €300,000 Round of 16: €600,000 Quarter-final: €1,000,000 Semi-final: €2,000,000 Plus Europa League qualification: €3,630,000 2 group stage wins: 2 x €630,000 2 group stage draws: 2 x €210,000 I make that €9,210,000, so about £8m. Add that to the ~£30m for prem prize money and that's the decrease in revenue about covered.
-
It's much lower than that - ~£3m for qualification for Europa and ~£2.5m for Conference League. Then additional, lesser amounts as you progress (and we didn't progress very far). Still a dent in revenue, just not as significant as league placing.

Foxes Trust – LCFC Accounts Statement
egg_fried_rice replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
Better than nothing, but too mealy-mouthed, and primarily focussed on the wrong area. Yes - challenge PSR/FFP by all means, but to do so in response to this abject mismanagement from he club feels a bit like whataboutery that excuses the club's failings. As an LCFC supporters trust - it is the club who you should be holding firmly to account, especially at this juncture. -
£3m increase in prize money per place in the league standings - 10 places lower than previous season - that's 30m right there for a start.

Spoke too soon! Get in you tigers!

Man, that Ipswich result feels really rotten after our first decent performance in ages, and it feels like this game is headed the same way. Only got ourselves to blame, but it’s still annoying. I guess I’ll just deal with my feelings by binge eating an Easter egg.
-
Saints are a poor man’s Leicester. Bazunu is a poor man’s Ward. Think it’s a bit churlish to simply call Ipswich lucky - yes, they do seem to get the luck of the bounce, but they’ve done it time and time again over the course of nearly a full season - there’s more to it than just blind luck.
-
A must win game that we won! Maybe we just surrendered our massive points lead to make it interesting?
-
Why has the tempo dipped? I can’t think of any feasible reason why it should other than tiredness. But the fact it happened immediately after our goal makes it seem more than coincidental. And if it is tiredness - make subs.

Wilf looks cooked
-
Already the intensity has dropped off. Why? Keep the foot on the throat!
-
Wilf and pat off. Keep the forward pressure on
-
We simply have to win this
-
Well it’s the best half we’ve played in some time. But we need to be creating and converting more clear cut chances. You just know our soft underbelly will be exploited at the first opportunity
-
Duffy is a right old clogger. Let’s get him sent off
-
Sterile domination so far. No cutting edge. right on cue
-
I keep hearing our midfield three is premier quality but they all look pretty poor to me
-
Did that ball go out of play?
