We hadn't made our dominance at the start count. We will kick ourselves if they go ahead before end of the half. Tierney definitely should have buried that.
-
Not a bad start, bit sloppy in possession. Hopefully we can keep on top.
-
Totally agree, a win against west ham could potentially be what keeps us from relegation, even this early in the season due to the poor start them and Liverpool have had.
-
Would liked to have seen us compete a bit more today, but aside from that, probably went about as expected. We were passengers in the first half and was much better in the 2nd half, though they'd taken their foot off the gas. Really hoping we can get Mouchon starting soon. Also would like to see Las get ahead of Ayanne, particularly from loosing positions. Shame we have such a long wait until the next home game now.

Hlin seemed to play well for Iceland last night (from looking at the highlights). Scored and assisted. Seems to play on the wing for them too, which is strange considering she's not exactly the most mobile player. Looking forward to Arsenal at the weekend, not expecting a lot, but we could sneak a result.

Theres the Hinckley stadium, but it’s been mismanaged and is a bit drab now. Barwell also have a decent pitch & stadium, it is 4G, but if it's between that and playing games an hour away, I know what I'd prefer.
-
Hopefully tickets are at least mega cheap. Burton and Notts County feel like long trips for home games, so turnout is never any good. Speaking as someone from South Leicestershire, its obviously subjective.
-
Good win, hopefully give us confidence going into next weekend. Love a good cup run.

Google says a rantala goal! Nice
-
I mean it says it all that the one game that does appear to be streamed is Man City... No doubt that when the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal join the cup, all of their games will be streamed.
-
Seems like the gane on Sunday isn't going to be televised or streamed anywhere again. Shame as it would have been an interesting watch.
-
Fair result there, we held on well. I take the draw, away at someone we're competing with in the league. I missed the first half, sounds like we might have been lucky? Could have nicked it, but just lack quality in the final third. Mouchon looks very dangerous, dares to take on a player. Hopefully it's not long until she's fully fit and starting.
-
Watch us go on a terrible run of form now though...
-
Glad to see this, seems like a good bloke and a decent manager too.
-
That's a bit harsh, Passmoor's doing as good of a job as anyone else we've had managing us since being in the WSL, with arguably less than what his predecessors had. Like with the men's game, good managers aren't just readily available in abundance. I'd like us to have someone in by or during the winter break at the latest. Whether we give Passmoor the job or get someone new in, it's much of a muchness. We aren't going to get any worldbeaters through the door.

Agreed, even my daughter was impressed with her and seems to have taken the mantle as her new favourite now Mace and Momiki have left. She seems to go a bit shy when looking for a pass forward and will either go back or sideways, but aside from that she reminds me of a Scottish N'golo Kante. Just everywhere winning the ball all the time. We just have to keep hold of her now! But I expect the plan was probably to use us as a stepping stone. Which is understandable really.

We could and probably should have won that one, but it's a point you take really isn't it. We just have to keep picking up those points here and there to leave West ham and Liverpool adrift a bit. Poor attendance again (not the fans fault), we know the reasons... We look so defensively frail without a traditional back 4 as our defenders are so easily gotten at down the wings. We also lack a bit of directness and a no.9. Im hoping we go back to a 4-3-3 once Mouchon and Goodwin are fully fit. I'll put my hands up and say that Hlin isn't working up top, which is a shame because she does seem technically great and is still a great squad player. Mouchon is probably just a better version. We can get something at Villa, again I'd take a draw, but it's winnable.
-
That has to be the case. It's likely only going to get worse too, aside from when we play the likes of man city, arsenal and man u, and the away fans outnumber the home fans.
-
Unfortunately, at this point my kids favourite soft play area will have a higher gate receipt than the women are currently pulling in.
-
Ah and would you look at that... about an hour after the above the televised picks are released for weeks 7 & 8... More 12:00 kick offs...
-
Some really good points raised here. I really do think the biggest issue is these 12 kick-offs, I'll be extremely disappointed if the league doesn't change this when the next batch of TV fixtures is released, but I guess SkySports hold the cards on it really and you know they don't care about attendances. Be interesting to know how other fan bases feel about it, as it has to be effecting them too.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was >1000 today. Whilst I dont blame the club on one hand, they also haven't helped themselves by a total lack of proper marketing and promoting.
-
The Hinckley ground would be the perfect solution if you ask me, the club that use it are really struggling financially, I wonder how they would feel about buying the stadium off them, but still allow them to play there. It would need some investment putting into it, as it's not been looked after very well, there's businesses that also inhabit parts of the ground and the "car park" isn't great. They would loose out on a fair bit of retail as well from match day visitors. It will never happen, but a stadium like that would be perfect.
-
I thought the same thing about the crowds. We couldn't be there today, so watched it on youtube and it was really sparce

Random fact for you all... Swaby is our highest rated player in the new Fifa/FC game, with a 78 rating. And is also the fastest on the whole team... I've not played Fifa in a few years now, but this made me laugh. Though I dont mind Swaby, to think she's our best player is wild.
