Have already seen the difference having an elite manager makes imo. Subs again today won us the game. -

For anyone who watches on sky.... I watched the game with audio description on, gives a single commentator who is describes all the action obviously for blind people etc. So much better to not listen to dogshit from Matterface and Dixon. Would still prefer a no commentator option at all rather than listen to Matterface bollocks -
Don't win that with Southgate there. Honestly think that's the best England game I've seen in my lifetime. Battled so well
-
Tuchel won us that game there We played against dirty cheating bastards and bent officials
-
This ref is appalling
-
Poor game management from us. Should be in at HT two up. Put ourselves under pressure stupidly. Making Raul look like prime Diego Costa

Yeah agreed mate. I'm gonna rest probably three days before my next HM event which currently isn't til October unless I do something before. Weights are absolutely killing me though. I consider them a necessity for the gains obvs but honestly 24-48 hours especially I'm barely walking π€£ takes about 5 days for the full effects to go. Might be overdoing it I guess -

Hope so. Think I'm gonna have to do a training plan from later in the year for it. Might get AI to do it. I think I'm gonna have to taper like hell for a marathon and not run for about a week before or do any weights because they're killing meπ€£ -

Done a marathon run today for the first time in about 3/4 months. I'm in the Manchester marathon next year and 3 hours sub is the aim. **** me not sure how I can do that π€£ Today's aim was keep it around 4:45 per km. Did the first half marathon in 1:40 I think it was (elapsed time), with no stops except a minute piss break. Had a 5/6 min rest snack and refuel at around 23km in. Got to about 20 miles in and legs started to go. Think the fact I did leg day earlier in the week and the DOMS from it **** me for about 4 days, didn't help I did a 22km on Friday too π€£π€£π€£ Finished it in 3:34 elapsed time, would have been 3:24 without stopping. Would have liked 3:30 dead but had to stop more than I'd like in the last 10km just to shake the legs and buy a drink. So I'm blaming the heat and the achy legs π€£ Still beat my marathon PB by about 2 and half mins though which I set on Christmas Day, although splits were more rounded there. -

Rashford stayed on far too long. Rogers needs to be on asap imo. Get Anderson off don't need two DMs on -

So warm out there again just now. 12k done and 2-6km doing Fartlek intervals, rancid. I really don't suit warm weather running. Will actually be glad when temp drops to mid teens and cloudy. Eyeing up a 10km event next Sunday but with England playing at 2200 the night before I honestly don't think I can get up in time to do it π -

Just back from a 17km light pace run by my standards. It's unbearable and that's with it being cloudy without the sun beaming down. Little wind either. Need to get back to the speed work but simply can't do it in these conditions without dying of heat exhaustion π -

Would actually prefer an option to watch games with just crowd noise over listening to Matterface spouting absolutely baloney all game. Thinks he's in the pub with mates. Absolute twat -

Croatia haven't had to work hard for their goals and that's disappointing. Think if we get the third we'll go on to win. Rather have Tuchel in at HT than Southgate right now, but this is the exact moment we have got him in to earn his money for. -

Enjoy mate! Haven't been to those places but didn't enjoy running in the centre of cities over there where I have been. The crossings and stop start nature of it really frustrated me! On my way home from Scotland/Northumberland and my shins/legs ache from the hills and wearing old shoes π Stunning scenery though -

Thanks. Usually like a good old chicken and rice the night before and no shite food for days before. This hol all I've eaten is junk meals tbf, not including all the cake and chocolate π so I'll take it. Got a ten km at the end of the month back home I might do, just waiting on the weather, but again will aim for closer to pb hopefully there as it's flat -

Results finally been posted. 13th Place and 434 runners. 40:19 time. Would have loved the sub 40 but the hills and wind did me in. Didn't help the Chinese takeaway and fish/pie and chips I've had three nights in a row π -

Awaiting the official time, but think I was about 40:30. Pretty sure I finished around 11-14th place, possibly from about 600 runners. Was a nice route but so unbelievably windy and elevated in places. Splits all over the place. Ranging from 3:51 to 4:25, the hills were an absolute killer especially in the wind, I really hated it at times π Elevation gain of 80m Strava says. I knew sub 40 would be tough here because of all that, but wasn't a bad effort with short notice before entering it and definitely didn't do it in my best shoes either π Second fastest 10k and 5k I've ever done on Strava so I'll take it and on to the next one end of June where it's back home and flat. Beating my 38:28 PB is my target there. -

On holiday in Northumberland and discovered Bamburgh 10k is tomorrow. Needless to say I've signed up. Looks a bit elevated tbh and I've not trained as much this week so I'll be going for another consecutive sub 40 but actually think I might struggle. Scenery will be good though -

Strange one. Was throbbing last night like a bastard, struggled to sleep and actually was struggling to put weight on it, especially to go up the stairs. I work on my feet all day so was pretty worried this morning. Felt tight but generally ok to walk on, ibuprofen has possibly helped. Might see how it is tomorrow as I did have a run planned but last thing I want is to aggravate it as it's definitely tender. I'm not the best at managing injuries and resting. Just happy I didn't go arse over tit or worse π€£ -

Tried to do a new interval workout for myself. Basically 1km burts (6 reps), with 90 seconds in between. Absolute pain. How any one can hold anything close to 3 min pace for a significant time is staggering to me. Quickest I did was 3:30 something, and id love that to be over 5km eventually. Decided the last 2/3 reps id do over 800m because frankly I was ****ed. Rolled my ****ing ankle on the second burst....hurt at first but cracked on and finished the workout. Hoping thats not made it worse now in hindsight and the adrenaline may has masked it. As I sit here it definitely hurts a bit. -
I've seen countless teams announce friendlies already now. I'm sure that every single year we seem to announce ours late, manager or not
