Finally found the first piano on FF7 Rebirth. What a joy that is. I didn't move on until I got the star rank - took around 20 tries to get it.

Lacklustre. Just like Cooper.

Currently this is playing out pretty much as I expected it would. What makes it so frustrating is that it's glaringly obvious that (a) we don't need to make this half as difficult as we currently are making it to be and that (b) we should be quite a bit better off than our currently points tally shows. Both outcomes are a direct result of Cooper. He's a frustrating man to listen to and to watch and his team selections are just as frustrating as he is.

PS Extra. I think it is currently £90 although you can get the gift card from Shopto for a reduced price so essentially it shouldn't cost more than £80 for the year. They are doing the £100 gift card for £85 right now for example.

Now is the time to invest in Powerwash Simulator That title essentially cost me £55 on PS Extra. Check out Shopto and they do Klarna to lighten the blow.

Just fully finished the grasslands area of FF7 Rebirth and have Midgarsormr done, first attempt. The combat system in this game is superb. 17 hours in, can't put this down. Brilliant stuff.

FF7 Rebirth is a fantastic game. I can see myself sinking hours and hours into this game. I didn't leave Kalm until doing all 3 rounds of Queens Blood and the final round took 4 tries 4 hours later and I'm finally in the grasslands.

My copy of FF7 Rebirth arrived today so I hope to platinum this before the next console beyond the PS5 Pro arrives.

I don't understand the fidelity vs performance mode debate that the Pro will narrow in terms of the new hardware. It has always been about having the right display this generation to supplement the hardware. The vast majority of games since the launch of Horizon FW have not looked as good and that was almost 3 years ago. Only Guerilla, Insomniac and Santa Monica Studios know how to get the best out of the hardware and an outlay of £700 for 8k, framerate, performance etc. that these studios would potentially maximise does not justify this. Naughty Dog still don't have a PS5 only title either! We'll be nearing the end of this console window before you'll notice any difference by which time everyone will switch the PS6. Crazy.

£700 for Astros Playroom? This is a stupid move by Sony. I'd get one but at £500 max.
