So the greatest ever player for Leicester City decides to call it time. It's probably the right time for all parties but nonetheless absolutely gutted to see him go, this truly marks the end of an era - the end of JV and Leicester City, the end of the great team of 15/16, the end of "chat shit get banged", the end of the funniest celebrations you will see, the end of Jamie Vardy. HE is the player you would love to have at your club and hate him if he doesn't play for your club. I wish him nothing but the best of luck in whatever he does next (In my opinion he will retire) Like others have mentioned - he deserves that statue right next to Vichai - it has to be of him either flapping his wings, kicking the corner flag or lifting the trophy.

I think some people are clearly quite delusional - turning up their noses at Fabregas and Dyche - the former is never in a million years going to come to Leicester and the later we should be lucky if he says yes. Leicester City is a shambolic, terribly run club at the moment with evidence of being untruthful to potential managers about transfer funds, PSR looming over their heads, a jumped up squad with players who think they are too good to play for us and are on insane wages for their abilities. Does anyone genuinely think that Vardy would be happy to sit on the bench and come on for 10-15 mins per game if that for a season in the Championship? Like I said in my previous post, unfortunately - he has too much clout at the club. He will not want to be a "bit part" player. He will feel he has a point to prove and he will use his power at the club to give the manager little chance but to play him. I'm sorry to say that he has past his best and is no longer fit for purpose. Will be a Legend always, one of the best players to play for us ever but now is the time. He has to move on, for both parties it's for the best.

I think it's more about the no nonsense approach he would bring. Far too long we have players who have the power, no real identity, lack of professionalism and hard work. He would bring all of those things to get the club in line again, he would also stand up to Top and Rudkin and not be a "yes" man to them. It's a long term project now, anyone who things we can hire the likes of Carsley, Cesc etc and have immediate success is delusional. Dyche would bring it back to basics for a few years, then we build again and get someone like Carsley in.

for someone to take both Soumare and Faes from us would be an absolute miracle and nothing short of us bending them over and having free reign for as long as we want. No other club has such inept owners or managers.

I am sorry but you cannot judge him by the fact that Salah was not his usual self - Salah was already on the beach, even then he had multiple chances. The comment of "had him on toast" is so far stretched it's like saying GTF would be quicker than Vardy (if Vardy has just ran 3 marathons in a row whilst in the knowledge that on any given day he could run backwards faster than GTF)
