Weekly update in the style of that Spurs fan who does weekly reviews of their shit shows... - Confirmation statement still overdue (now 3 months late) - ID checks on Thai directors still overdue (despite doing it for the dormant media company) - No tech director appointment despite top saying there was just a few formalities left on that one - No commercial director, not had one since the summer, time of year where most critical commercial contracts are renewed, particularly kit manufacturer. - Previous commercial director is doing rather well as Hibs CEO, club record £4.4m sale of a striker who they got in for 6 figures last year. - No CEO appointment either - No manager appointment - 3 of our 4 signings on deadline day were part of the last 6 to be announced by football league clubs. Comms on this was blaming the football league but given we were at the back of the queue it's clear we left it super late as well.

Genuinely not that bad. Most of his injuries pre ACL were knocks, twists, strains, the usual defender stuff! Transfermrkt have him down with 3 separate 'muscle issues' this season which have equated to him missing all but 5 squads. Each injury has been sustained off pitch too. A few Newcastle fans have said if he suddenly starts for us on Saturday they'd question whether the latest 'injury's' even existed. Look I know we're notoriously thick, but there's no way we've given someone a 6 month contract if they can't play within the next few weeks. *Howe is quoted pre christmas saying "He doesn't feel great in his body but does not have a specific injury". Could just be a need to get match fit and him knowing the Premier League and Champions League isn't the best place to do that!

I hope his first game is in the FA Cup after playing for the u21's again Norwich. There's no point whatsoever throwing him straight into Brum or Saints league games. In fact i'd like to see Aribo and Richards in that Monday night game as well. Especially as Aribo can't play Tuesday or Saturday after.

Completely agree, this one just felt like a "snapping" type moment though, rather than someone being serially online. I just don't think it should ever get to that moment of someone snapping and feeling the need to fight back. It's still such a tribal, aggressive, alcohol driven male environment which leads to the abuse at games, online abuse etc. I just think that's indicative of Sol saying "cry me a river McNeil wife", rather than going for McNeil or even maybe reading into the situation a bit more to understand what happened. To me it didn't come across as being annoyed at not moving to London, it was about the online reaction to a club spending £20m on her husband. TL:DR - Footballers and their families need to be better managed/trained - Football fans forget players and their families are human beings.

She's been through some pretty horrific surgery recently, probably going to severely limit their chances of a family. There's two sides to this... should it all be aired in public, probably not.... but equally if people are going to be abusive should you be given a chance to give insight into what's going on in your life to remind people footballers are human beings? ****ing absolutely!

This is true in some respect. But plenty of clubs have made it through the backlog. Which points to the fact we're at the bottom of the backlog because we were slow...

I know football transfers are notoriously weird these days, but anyone know why Arsenal and Spurs spent yesterday fighting over and signing two Scottish kids, and made a big deal about it rather than it just being a quiet development squad signing?

This backlog is interesting. Plenty of football league signings announced throughout the evening and into the night. So we’re at the back of the backlog… because we’re slow….
