I'd assume it's a complete mess at Seagrave this morning. Coaching staff remaining are Kingy and Hughes. No goalkeeper coach again. The U21's are playing tonight so probably can't lean on their staff to support. Priority needs to be support staff for King this week and they need to be in the door tomorrow.

I went to watch Notts County on Saturday. They've adopted my preferred approach to football which is a bit of a combination of passing football and direct football. They pass it around but they do it at speed and it goes forward, even if they risk losing it at times. They also play with a clear target man, he's there for crosses as they get it out to their wingers quickly, he's also there as an escape route if they're pressed in defence or midfield and need to get it up quickly. I think more managers are moving towards this style now. Sadly not the ones we keep hiring

In terms of previous links Davide Ancelloti is available again after a stint at Botafogo (did have a big fall out with the board though ), wondering if perhaps he'll just slot back into the Brazil AM role for the world cup. You'd imagine Hassenhuttl is due another stint in England too, been spotted at EPL and EFL games recently. Also think Tomasson always ends up on our shortlists, did okay at Blackburn, flopped with Sweden.

I was surprised he went back to u21 because he seemed thoroughly pissed off that he wasn’t given the big job for longer.
