It's probably for the best that David supports Cov. I mean how would he cope if he supported a team that actually won something? He'd probably spontaneously combust.

Speak for yourself. And stop trying to take the wind out of my sails when I'm trying to wind up our stray Cov fan.

It's nothing to do with points. We need the points regardless of the opposition, as does everybody else. I'm just saying since you have had such lean times that a renewal of a local derby with Leicester is a bigger deal for you than it is for us for us... Well me anyway. Incidentally, if your brothers are Leicester fans, what went wrong for you? Talk about getting the short straw.
-
It's obviously bigger for them. Whilst they have been treading water with the other minnows we have been on the adventure of a lifetime with proper big games, cup finals etc. I had forgotten what a Coventry was. It may be over now, but given our recent history it's difficult to get excited about Cov at home. For them, on the other hand, this game is about as big as it gets. And I expect them to win for that reason.

Fun fact, the urban wasteland that is Coventry is 4th in the European crime index. Leicester doesn't make the top 150. At least they're good at something.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!

Strange response to my post. Of course we needed another striker. I'm not saying we didn't. -

Surely he was signed to play, no? Surely he was signed because he was expected to be better than what we have wasn't he? Otherwise what's the point? -
Still outrageous that this happened. A club had already accepted a price and then doubled it when Rudkin came knocking and got it. Scandalous.

If you are allowing Coventry fans to take the bragging rights I'm afraid you're just not trying. Regardless of who wins an individual EFL game and regardless of where we are now, you have an arsenal of ammunition to choose from. We have eight trophies in the bank including the flippin Premier League title since they won their one and only. You can regale them with tales of Champions League. You need to raise your game.

I think it tells us that the alternative is Patson Daka -

I've never been a fan of players that can't stay upright. I think his fall down routine takes pressure off our opponents by killing our attacks. If that's his best quality then god help us. -
I blame the manager
-
I'm not so sure that you can blame Jakub for the first goal. He had two options, to push the ball in front of him and back into the six yard box, obviously that would be a goalkeeping error, or push it out to the side which he did. What else is he supposed to do?
-
I think I make Cov favourites for this. We have more quality but they will definitely want it more and that will make the difference.
-
He's a very highly rated keeper still at the start of his career. Still developing. He's going to be quite special imo and it saddens me to read from those not being able to appreciate it when we have a real talent coming through.
-
Not at this level. Imo, we have the best squad in the league. We were undone by a harsh, but reckless red card today and we are still a work in progress with the new manager.
-
People... well those people anyway...are morons.

At last, after four years, Soumare scores a goal!

If there is one thing that I have learned from decades of supporting Leicester, it is to be a pessimist. However, I can't quite understand why so many are so wary of the mighty Oxford United. I don't get it. This will be a routine win or I'll eat my hat.

Faes is better than Amartey, in the same way that a sore head is better than a migraine. Look forward to the day that both are confined to this thread.

Still poor value for money

Maybe Brondby will soon be in the market for some aging but experienced journeyman plodders? Well Steve, this could be your lucky day...
-
Of course it will. Unless that double negative was intentional?
-
That's an interestful take.
