  1. Why so? I think the point is that it's entertaining, like a good old-fashioned pub debate with no right or wrong answers, just opinions.
  2. If you're going to have a howler, I suppose yesterday's game was the ideal game to do it. No harm done.
  3. We might actually need to sell Mads, in which case, with him potentially missing a large portion of the season, he is not able to showcase his talents at this level, hence a lower fee or perhaps no sale at all.
  4. Kasper did things in the FA Cup final that Ward could never dream of. In fact, to paraphrase Ali, if he ever did dream them, he should wake himself up and apologise.
  5. I think it's important to keep the names of past legends alive, even if we never saw them play. Perhaps the likes of Rowley, Hine, Chandler, Sep Smith etc pass into the category of folk hero instead, but I think that we should have a hall of fame so that future generations know what a Huth is.
  6. Mike trebilcock might be considered a legend for three other reasons.
  7. I see no one has mentioned Sir Steve of Walsh yet? Perhaps its cus there's not so many that remember him these days or perhaps it's because he has been reframed as a thug these days. For me Walsh typified the Mr Leicester City role as Jamie Vardy does today. Great leader, great defender, great striker, Derby-slayer, Play off winner, League cup winner and had that *Botham-esque quality of being able to make things happen. *Ian Botham was a cricketist from the olden days, kids.
  8. Love Elliott. Defo legend for me, but if it was for one single thing, it would be for twatting Craig Bellamy.
  9. I think that some players might get the honour bestowed upon them after they have retired. Youri for instance, cup winning goal scorer and integral part of our most successful team in living memory (miracles aside). He should be a legend but for many (me) he queered his pitch by appearing to go through the motions and run his contract down, watching on as the ship sank. Mahrez, for me at least, similar. You can't be a legend for a club you disrespect. Perhaps, in time, that will all be forgotten.
  10. It's an exclusive club. Ian Ormonroyd's name is not on the list, h's not coming in. I don't care how many 8 year olds that might upset.
  11. Because the lower the bar, the less prestigious it becomes. I like Gerry too, but being a big cvnt doesn't quite cut it as legend material.
  12. Exactly my point. Anyway, let's ask him. Hey Lionator, did you mean either/or, or both?
  13. That's not how it reads to me.
  14. I think that longevity has to come into it. For that reason, I have a hard time classing Kante as a Leicester legend. He was only here for one season and took some persuading to come. He did amazing things for us while he was here and earned our enduring goodwill, but I can't class a one season player as a Leicester legend.
  15. So Mahrez fails your own criteria. I don't class going on strike and bitching about the club as loyalty.
  16. Really? Last game of the great escape season. I can see Cambiasso bowing to the kop now. Could've sworn that was 5-2? edit. Just looked it up. It was 5-1. Well I'll be gosh-darned! Carry on.
  17. We all know what happened straight after the last time we beat QPR 5-2....
  18. Well, he was close.
  19. Fire sale? We can't give our players away. The Championship is rubbish and we'll walk our ninth title, even with a points deduction. The season after might be a problem mind.
  20. We're gonna ace The Championship next year!
  21. Maybe Ruud is still trying to instill his way of playing into the team. A competitive game with little at stake could be useful for that. Bit disappointed not to see some youth though, at least on the bench.
  22. Make a good coach driver.
  23. So a 16 year old Wayne Rooney, tearing up The Premier League, could have walked out of Everton for free? Surely that can't be right?
  24. I'm sure he would, but why can't we stop our own youth players just walking out and why do big clubs get away with not paying a proper fee? It's something that should be addressed by the PL.
  25. Why has nothing been done to stop this kind of robbery? The Premier League has rules coming out of its ears, seems to invent a new one every year but can't prevent vultures stealing from other clubs?
