Rust bucket cars. Fortunately they were built on chassis so were relatively safe from collapsing but there were plenty around with see through wings and sills. Newspaper and Isopon filler was what held mine together.

OS Wout Faes played in Belgium’s 4-3 win over Wales The visitors came from three goals down in Brussels Kevin De Bruyne scored a late winner Bilal El Khannouss was a substitute in Morocco’s 1-0 win over Benin The Red Devils kept their World Cup qualification dream on track last night with a 4-3 victory over Craig Bellamy’s Wales, but the game wasn’t without any drama. Leicester City’s Wout Faes lined up in defence as the hosts took an early lead at Stade Roi Baudouin through Romelu Lukaku; former Fox Youri Tielemans and Jeremy Doku ensured a commanding lead before half-an-hour had been played. However, after the break, the Red Dragons fought back, incredibly bringing the game back level again through goals from Harry Wilson, Sorba Thomas and Brennan Johnson. Belgium’s fears of letting slip a crucial three points were rescued by De Bruyne who volleyed home from close range in the dying stages. A first defeat for Wales in Group J, they remain second with the Red Devils hot on their heels, three points behind in third but with two games in hand. Elsewhere, Morocco faced Benin in a friendly at Complexe Sportif de Fès, where Bilal El Khannouss was named on the bench. Coming on at 71 minutes, he looked dangerous, but the scoreline was already confirmed, after Ayoub El Kaabi’s overhead kick on the stroke of half-time.

City have previously confirmed the 11 professionals who have been released by the club, and on Monday they announced that nine new contracts have been signed, and with offer made to Brandon Cover. But now the Premier League have published each club’s full rundown of professional players and scholars. City’s list notes that there are further seven scholars who have received new contract offers: Bless Akolbire, Ryan Donnelly, Jake Donohue, Alfie Fisken, Reiss Khela, Ola Omobolaji and Kirsten Otchere. It also shows two scholars have left the club alongside the 11 professionals. They are midfielder Kaleb Dyke, whose switch to QPR has already been announced, and goalkeeper Lewis McNab. McNab had joined the club’s under-16s from his hometown side Weymouth two years ago following a successful trial. For now, Jake Evans is on the list of scholars, but will move up to the professionals list from August, when he turns 17 and once the formalities of his new deal have been tied up. Jeremy Monga does not feature on either list for now, but has signed a scholarship that officially begins in July, when he turns 16. That deal will eventually become a professional one in 2026.

Shouldn't some of that anger be aimed at the club, if we're to believe what's been written wasn't he promised a transfer and the club went back on that promise. We've all seen since how incompetent the club is with transfers so maybe there's more than a little truth in that promise.

As I've said many times it's just a carbon copy of the PL or will be. That's how it was set up it was inevitable. Rather than letting it continue to organically grow with more support and exposure they went for the money by tagging it on to the PL teams

https://foxesofleicester.com/overpaid-leicester-city-player-robbed-foxes-blind-season This overpaid Leicester City player robbed the Foxes blind this season Leicester City are hemorrhaging money with this player. By Joe Soriano Leicester City didn't stand a chance in the Premier League last season, finishing their return campaign to the English top flight in 18th, 13 points behind Tottenham Hotspur in the last safe position in the league table. There were many reasons for Leicester's failure to achieve their most important goal of safety, but the biggest reason was how badly their most expensive signings and most highly paid players flopped in the 2024/25 season. No player epitomized this level of disappointment more profoundly than experienced center midfielder Harry Winks. Despite earning £4.68 million last season (or £90,000 per week), Winks played like a sub-professional footballer and seemed to act like one too, falling out with both managers, Steve Cooper and Ruud van Nistelrooy, during the season. It got so bad with Winks that Van Nistelrooy even chopped the 29-year-old off his squad entirely after his final tussle with the Englishman, as Winks refused to compromise on a very basic request to lodge closer to the facilities so he didn't have to commute 100 miles to Leicester. Only Jamie Vardy made more money Causing problems like that is bad enough, but Winks's play on the pitch was even worse. In 17 starts last season around more injury woes, Winks was a complete failure and statistically one of the worst midfielders in the Premier League. Winks was tied with forward Odsonne Edouard as the second highest-paid player on Leicester City behind striker and club legend Jamie Vardy. For a defensive midfielder to make that much money at a newly-promoted side in comparison to his peers and even the forwards, you would have expected a lot more from Winks. Instead of being an experienced and stabilizing hand in the middle of the pitch, Winks was a big part of the chaos on and off the pitch. He was overrun regularly and a massive reason why Leicester City were such a sieve as a team. Winks averaged just 1.1 tackles and 0.4 interceptions per game and yet was gashed on the dribble 0.8 times per match. He averaged just 0.7 combined dribbles completed and fouls drawn per game, offering no real defensive cover or ball progression to Leicester City and only limited creativity with two assists. A woeful player for years at Tottenham who never came close to the unreasonable hype he got, Winks then became a key part of Sampdoria's downfall with his horrible midfield play. Now at Leicester City, Winks has hopefully been finally exposed as one of the biggest busts in English football in recent memory - a dreadful midfielder stealing paychecks and starting jobs from far more deserving players.

...and Leicester/shire even more so with it mostly directed to Nottingham and then Derby. So not only are we the poor relations of the midlands were bottom of the pile for England. It's already well publicised that Leicestershire is the worst funded council in England.

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR

Of course but it doesn't relate to or give justification for the other PL clubs kowtowing to them in the PL which was my point. -

Even seasoned pros need more than two games to acclimatise especially in a league completely new to them and even more so in such an influential position. -

I'd like to think he's committed to the contract and at that point anyone wanting him then will have to pay a transfer fee of our choosing. -
