Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR
davieG replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Them joining a Super League would have no immediate direct impact on the PL . The Super League is all about replacing EUFA Champions League competition. -
Hinckley, so probably best to leave it for now thanks though. I'll try looking at the hose.

Not starting a thread for this as @Finnegan would probably take a contract out on me Leicester City tipped to reignite interest in signing Premier League centre back And City could reportedly attempt to lure an ideally proficient and underrated man to Filbert Way for nothing. That's right, Craig Dawson is now available on a free transfer after departing Molineux recently. "It means, should City still have an interest in Dawson, that they would be able to snap him up for free. That may be helpful amid their issues around Profit and Sustainability Rules and the readjustments they need to make to their finances following relegation to the Championship" Leicester Mercury As I say, even at age 34, Dawson is capable of doing a job in the XI or from the substitute's bench. He's a goal threat, a combative tackler and is accomplished advancing with the ball. https://foxesofleicester.com/leicester-tipped-to-reignite-interest-in-signing-pl-centre-back

https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/jannik-vestergaard-addresses-ruud-van-10247002 Jannik Vestergaard addresses Ruud van Nistelrooy talks after three-month Leicester City absence Jannik Vestergaard had been a regular under Ruud van Nistelrooy until he was abruptly dropped, leading to three months where he didn't even make the Leicester City bench ByJordan Blackwell 14:08, 7 JUN 2025 Jannik Vestergaard insists there is “no bad blood” between him and Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy and that he won’t demand to leave the club this summer. Vestergaard was dropped abruptly from the City side this season, playing regularly under van Nistelrooy until March, when he then didn’t even make the bench for the remainder of the season. Van Nistelrooy said it was a matter of selection, with Conor Coady and Wout Faes in the starting line-up and with Caleb Okoli on the bench. But when Faes was injured for the away trip to Brighton, Vestergaard still didn’t make the squad, van Nistelrooy choosing to go without centre-back cover. Vestergaard, who did continue to train with City’s first team, has now played down his absence from the squad. While he admits to frustration, he also understood that his performances were not leading to results, and said there is a mutual respect between him and the manager. The centre-back told Danish outlet Bold: “The manager has made some other choices, but let me emphasise that it has been very frustrating not to be part of the team at all for the last part of the season. “But I also have to admit that my time on the pitch wasn't fruitful for the team either. Therefore, it's only natural that the manager has looked for something that works and is best for the team. He has naturally looked for what could secure points and survival. “We have had a nice dialogue. There is mutual respect and no bad blood between us. I also respect that the coach is in a situation where he has to make some difficult decisions.” Vestergaard also divulged more on his future. Despite suggestions his contract could be cancelled and even with his Denmark manager Brian Riemer urging him to find a club where he can play regularly, the 32-year-old said this week he expects to stay at the King Power Stadium. Pointing to the two years remaining on his deal, he said there had been no contact from City about their plans for him, and so he is ready to help the club get back into the Premier League. Expanding on those thoughts, Vestergaard said that he won’t demand to leave the club and believes, as part of the relegated group, there is a duty for him to help the team return to the top flight. The last time City were relegated, Vestergaard returned from the cold to play a key part in promotion and he is hoping to do the same again. “No, I won't (ask to leave),” he said. “I don't think you can be aware of that when you have also helped to bring down a club. There must be both responsibility and a duty to help the club back up. “When you get relegated, you do it as a team. I've always had a hard time with those who say they're not going down, even though they were part of the relegation. “I've learned here that hard work and patience are mostly well spent. Even if the situation looks bleak, I know it will turn around at some point.”

I thought it was founded on religious freedom and to worship who you want without Monarch or government interference. The First Amendment to the United States Constitution protects fundamental freedoms, including freedom of religion, speech, the press, assembly, and the right to petition the government. It was ratified in 1791 as part of the Bill of Rights.

Resigning Ndidi and Vestergaard for free and renewing Winks and Coady was probably done to reduce the value of players on the books

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR
davieG replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
PSR is a barrier to the top 6 but has nothing to do with being relegated 2 seasons in 3. You only penetrate the top 6 when 1 or more of the Rich 6 falters. -
I wonder if Trump will pardon them all once they've been convicted and jailed.

I thought Ranieri retired permanently?

https://football-italia.net/ranieri-italian-slaves-tactics-leicester-city/ Ranieri: ‘Italian slaves to tactics, I hope for another Leicester City’ BySusy Campanale Jun 7, 2025 19:00 Claudio Ranieri explains his man-management technique, complains Italian teams are ‘slaves to tactics’ and hopes there is ‘another Leicester City fairy tale’ in future. The veteran came out of retirement in November to rescue his beloved Roma, taking them from just above the relegation zone to a fifth-place finish. As planned, he then stepped aside to make way for new boss Gian Piero Gasperini and will be working with the club in a special advisory role. Guide to man-management from Ranieri Ranieri received an award today from the Italian Coaches’ Association and spoke to the media about what makes a great tactician. “Certainly being honest with your players, telling them what you think, even if it’s bad,” said the legendary boss. “You must understand those who get hurt easily, but in general my telling off has always been one on one, face to face. I never told a player ‘it’s your fault we lost, look at what you did.’ I just tried to improve what I was given and am fortunate enough to have many video clips of moves to show what went wrong. “I believe that the motivation of showing players what they did right is even more important than criticising them for what was done badly. You need to go over the errors in training, and there are players who understand the first time, while others cannot get it into their heads. If you can, you change those players, but otherwise you just give them a lot of hugs and try to keep going.” Ranieri is 73 years old and started his management career in 1986, so he must’ve seen a lot of changes in the world of football during that time. “Oh totally, you must always keep up to date. Every time I was fired, I would travel around Europe to see how other coaches work, because I believe that is important. It opens up the mind.” ROME, ITALY – JANUARY 05: Claudio Ranieri, Head Coach of AS Roma, looks on prior to the Serie A match between AS Roma and SS Lazio at Stadio Olimpico on January 05, 2025 in Rome, Italy. (Photo by Paolo Bruno/Getty Images)He is also rare for having worked in so many different countries, including Spain, France, Greece and of course England, allowing him to see the differences with Italian football. “I think in Italy we are slaves to tactics, so much that talented players come here and struggle to integrate. In England and France, tactics are important, but not as special as they are in Italy,” insisted Ranieri. “Over there, I would set out some basic concepts and then would try to get them working with each other, after identifying their characteristics. In Italy, we keep players caged up too much. At the same time, do not listen to those who claim we focus on Catenaccio, because when you see an opponent that is much stronger than you, then you have to keep 10 men behind the ball. “So yes, we can be Italian and not lose sight of ourselves, but also keep our eyes and minds open to other ideas.” There have been reports today he could be lined up to replace Luciano Spalletti as Italy coach. Ranieri a legend at Leicester City LEICESTER, ENGLAND – MAY 16: (L-R) Claudio Ranieri Manager of Leicester City and captain Wes Morgan of Leicester City show the trophy to the fans during the Leicester City Barclays Premier League winners bus parade on May 16, 2016 in Leicester, England. (Photo by Laurence Griffiths/Getty Images) The highlight of Ranieri’s career was winning the Premier League title with Leicester City, an achievement that will go down in history as practically unique. “When I went to Leicester, they had just fired their coach and were known as a yo-yo team. The President asked me to keep them in the top flight. As time wore on, we gradually found ourselves on 40 points. “I tried not to put too much responsibility on the lads. One step at a time, we created this marvellous symbiosis between coach, team and fans. I hope that there will be more Leicester City fairy tales in future. “I hope that another team finds its north star and, in the same season, the other big clubs aren’t as consistent as they usually are. I hope that happens, because this is the beauty of football,” concluded Ranieri.- 30 replies

https://eflanalysis.com/transfers/leicester-city-have-just-made-a-shock-contract-offer-to-premier-league-winner/ Leicester City submit contract offer for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain In the January window, Besiktas midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was on their radar as Van Nistelrooy sought Premier League experience. An offer was never submitted for the versatile 31-year-old, but now, according to Fotomac, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is willing to let the Englishman leave, and Leicester have offered him a contract. Oxlade-Chamberlain has played for Besiktas since leaving Liverpool in 2023, having won the Premier League and Champions League under Jurgen Klopp. Unfortunately, injuries have prevented him from fulfilling his potential, and since moving to Turkey he’s missed 132 days through injury. However, with the report claiming Besiktas want him off their wage bill, Oxlade-Chamberlain could become Leicester’s first signing of the summer. What Jurgen Klopp has said about Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Although wages could be a problem for Leicester, the former Arsenal star would offer positional versatility, displaying capabilities as a box-to-box, attacking midfielder and winger. Oxlade-Chamberlain also possesses the pace, shooting ability and dribbling to be an incredible asset for the Foxes, with former manager Klopp previously waxing lyrical over his talents. Speaking in 2023, Klopp said via Liverpool’s official website: “Ox is a super guy, an absolutely super guy. “Now with Ox it’s a bigger shame, how it sometimes is with players – he had here super times and now in the end I’m pretty sure he is not 100% happy and I can understand that, definitely. “But the one moment that comes in my mind, it describes a little bit the time here but as well how good he is, is the situation in the Roma semi-final, the home game when he got injured. In that moment I had no idea how to replace him, honestly – Ox was that good. “It was everything: he came here, had played from time to time at wing-back at Arsenal, winger for sure, and he became a proper No.8 here in the way we wanted to play – super-energetic, technically outstanding.”
