My son and I have called it a day. Me after 60+ and him after 38 years and it's not just down to the awful football, seen plenty of that. After Vardy scored his 200th we stood there in the stand waiting to see if it had been cleared by VAR. That was the final straw. Scoring goals is the most joyous moment in football especially when the game is so poor. The uncompetitive league structure, PSR, fake injuries now made worse by the head injury law, the constant changing of the laws relating to offside and hand ball, topsy turvy KOs that can change at such short notice, 8pm KOs meaning I cant use the bus and even the players don't look like their enjoying it most of the time and if they do some fans will berate them it all adds up to no longer enjoying the game. I've no idea what I'll do instead I shall still follow LCFC. I'm sure I'll miss aspects of a live game but I miss so much now even when I go.

https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=55779 Snubbed by Nigeria but backed by Van Nistelrooy: 18yo right-back makes PL debut for Leicester City Published: May 25, 2025 Snubbed by Nigeria but backed by Van Nistelrooy: 18yo right-back makes PL debut for Leicester City Talented right-back Olabade Aluko made his Premier League debut on the final day of the 2024–2025 season as Leicester City fell 2–0 to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium. The 18-year-old was rewarded for his standout performances with the Foxes development squad, having trained with the first team in recent weeks. Manager Ruud van Nistelrooy first named Aluko in a senior matchday squad on April 12 against Brighton & Hove Albion, though the youngster remained an unused substitute at the AMEX. Eligible to represent Nigeria through his parents, Aluko had hoped to feature for the Flying Eagles at the 2025 Africa U20 Cup of Nations in Egypt, but was overlooked for selection. The defender's camp was in contact with several officials of the Nigeria Football Federation before Flying Eagles manager Aliyu Zubairu announced his squad for the tournament in Egypt. Snubbed by Nigeria but backed by Van Nistelrooy: 18yo right-back makes PL debut for Leicester City Van Nistelrooy, however, has earmarked Aluko as a future first-team prospect and handed him his senior debut in the 89th minute, replacing Victor Kristiansen. Bournemouth had already put the game beyond reach with a second-half brace from Antoine Semenyo, before Aluko's introduction. Aluko had previously faced senior opposition in the EFL Trophy, going the distance against Wigan Athletic and Northampton Town, and featuring briefly against Notts County. Known for his maturity and leadership, he captained Leicester U18s in a Premier League fixture against Fulham in October 2024. Ifeanyi Emmanuel -

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR

Not sure if true Derek Katey Caesar · Follow Manchester United’s total debt, including around £300M owing on transfers, is now in excess of £1BN. Although the club is set to generate up to £160M this year from day-to-day activities, it means there will still be a 6th consecutive year of losses = £450M. (MailSport) -
Plenty did back a few years Walsh and his cohorts were renowned for their drinking. Merson and some other Arsenal players were also well known, Merson being an alcoholic. Drinking and smoking went hand in hand with footballers.

Judging from the games I've watched you need a backline and midfield that are prepared to put their bodies in the way of the ball. I've never seen so many blocked speculative shots.

Fan Zone Trial Begins At King Power Stadium

They need to open up and refurbish the old electric repair building next to the East Stand Car Park if they're not going ahead with the expansion any time soon. Would make a great fan zone and could be used throughout the winter. -
I heard if he doesn't start at Bournemouth he's packing football in for Management Training at McDonalds PS I had an apprentice who did this as they paid him more.

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR
davieG replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
BBC Football finance expert Kieran Maguire has estimated that Leicester City could be inline for a "seven-point deduction" for their latest breach of the Premier League's profitability and sustainability rules (PSR). Speaking to BBC Sport's Charlie Slater about the situation, Maguire said: "If we use the Everton and Nottingham Forest cases as a starting point, they were given a set penalty plus an additional penalty, in terms of points, for the severity of the offence over the allowable limit. "On the basis of that, we are probably looking at something like a seven-point deduction which if applied this season - and there's a case for saying it is too late - would result in Leicester City probably dropping from 18th to 19th position in the Premier League. "The reason why it might have to be applied to this season is because you get around about £3.5m per place in the Premier League. Therefore, from the perspective of Ipswich Town, they would say they are entitled to an extra £3.5m and they would want this particular issue to be pursued." Former Leicester City striker Matty Fryatt said the situation "doesn't look healthy" on the When You're Smiling podcast: "It certainly doesn't sound good initially. "The club are the prime target number one because they used that loophole before to get out of the previous charge. "The Premier League obviously deem it a breach of their rules so they are already after them. Then subsequently, because of relegation, the EFL will want a nibble as well because the club had previously breached their rules but went back up to the Premier League again. "So, all in all, it is a mess. I do think both the Premier League and the EFL will be after Leicester City, especially after they were clever in getting out of the situation last time. "It doesn't look healthy. I don't know whether the points deduction will be enforced for this season, which would probably play into Ipswich's favour for a bit of money, or if the EFL will go after Leicester City next season. "I wonder if the EFL could even save the points deduction and use it the following season, if Leicester City get promoted next season? It is very messy and the club is prime target number one unfortunately." https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0lcwl9h -

Story of Leicester We've got this great shot of Filbert Street for you today, taken on 14th March 1994. There was a great send-off for Jamie Vardy this past Sunday at The King Power - even though Leicester are relegated the fans were still having a good time! Onwards and upwards, back in the Premier League next season we think Did you ever go to a match at Filbert Street? What was the atmosphere like? #StoryofLeicester

They were never planning to leave the PL. The Super League was instead of UEFA's Euro leagues as they wanted to keep all the proceeds of Euro football themselves and not let UEFA have any. PL + Super League = Pure Greed.
