Tomorrow's almost over, today went by so fast It's the only thing to look forward to, the past [Verse] There was a time when time didn't matter, only the time of day And living was living in hope which would never pass away Well it was a Monday morning when weekend was done Fear was the fear of being what we had become [Chorus] Oh what happened to you? Whatever happened to me? What became of the people we used to be? Tomorrow's almost over, today went by so fast It's the only thing to look forward to, the past [Verse] You say I'm a fool in a fools paradise, let my life slip away Waiting with my head in the clouds, lookin for a sunny day Never go back you tell me, it's the worst thing you can do But I must go there till I find out where it is I'm going to [Chorus] Oh what happened to you? 6. I believe they owned a few in the 60s but then sold them when in financial difficulties in the 70s then started to buy them back in the late 80s/90s. It was rumoured that they what they paid for one house was more than they got a for all the ones the sold earlier.
  7. Home if you’ve got any sense
  8. Not bothered about losing just score a goal even if it ends up 10-1
  9. If you're going to do this you should all just plan to do the same route and start for every match with the hope that the numbers increase as the matches go by. Will not need to be planned just remind everybody each match.

  11. Just watched The Order on Prime staring Jude Law based on a true story set in 1983 onwards. The Order stars Jude Law as a fictional FBI agent who leaves his family to track down a gang of white nationalists robbing banks and counterfeiting money. The Order was a real terrorist organization that existed briefly in the 1980s, led by Bob Mathews, who is played in the film by Nicholas Hoult. The Order's goal was for the Pacific Northwest states to secede and form a whites-only nation, free of Jewish people. They based their beliefs on a book The Turner Diaries
  12. https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/news/leicester-news/spend-night-king-power-stadium-9960853 The initiative aims aims to combat youth homelessness ByTom MackSenior Reporter 04:00, 21 FEB 2025 An "unforgettable" experience is on offer to Leicester football fans, business leaders and anyone who wants to raise money for a good cause next month. That's because the King Power Stadium is set to host this year's annual rough sleeping event, with people now urged to take part and raise money through sponsorship for YMCA Leicestershire. The night of the rough sleep will include a tour of the Leicester City FC stadium and a hot drink and breakfast roll the following morning. YMCA Leicestershire, which supports homeless people in the county, described the event as an "unforgettable one-night experience" that would raise awareness as well as money to combat youth homelessness. Paul Brown, chief executive of YMCA Leicestershire, said: “The generosity of our community is what allows us to continue making life-changing differences. Every pound raised at Sleep Easy 2025 will give young people the support they need to rebuild their lives. Participants at the 2023 event (Image: CEO Sleepout) "We’re incredibly grateful to CEO Susan Whelan and everyone at Leicester City Football Club for their partnership in making this event possible - it’s a chance for everyone to come together and take a stand against youth homelessness.” Mr Brown said that by spending a night on the cold concrete floor of Leicester’s football stadium, those taking part would experience just a fraction of the daily hardships faced by those without a roof over their head. Those already signed up include several individuals, teams from work and the president of The Leicestershire Law Society, Greg Hollingsworth. Those taking part in last year's event at the Leicester City ground included Simon Hatchman, a director at PA Housing. He said: "I wanted to personally experience rough sleeping for a night to gain more of an appreciation of what people are going through on our streets. It was a more gruelling and painful experience than I was expecting." YMCA Leicestershire’s Sleep Easy event first took place in 2023 and has raised more than £45,000 since then. YMCA Leicestershire has been supporting young people in the county for more than 140 years. This year's Sleep Easy 2025 event will take place on the night of Wednesday, March 19. To register for the event, which costs £20, visit the YMCA Leicestershire website.

  18. He's looking for long term tenure https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ruud-van-nistelrooy-hints-leicester-9961664 Ruud van Nistelrooy hints at Leicester City 'dream' as Thomas Frank sets example Only two managers in the top four divisions of English football have been in their posts longer than Thomas Frank has with Brentford, Friday's visitors to the King Power Stadium ByJordan Blackwell 13:42, 20 FEB 2025 Thomas Frank is living the “dream” at Brentford with Ruud van Nistelrooy hinting he would like a similarly long tenure at Leicester City. Frank, the visiting boss to the King Power Stadium on Friday, has been in charge of the Bees for more than six years and is the third-longest-serving manager in England’s top four divisions. That kind of longevity with a side is what van Nistelrooy aspires to. So far in his senior managerial career, he spent less than a year at PSV Eindhoven before walking out over a lack of support from the board, had four games as interim Manchester United boss, and is now nearing the three-month mark in charge of City. “That’s the dream for a manager to be able to think in those long terms,” he said ahead of Brentford’s visit. “It’s an example where somebody starts a job with a clear idea from him within the club, and then building and setting those standards and recruiting. “I believe he’s done an excellent job, together with the people at Brentford. In that sense, it’s an example.” While van Nistelrooy has a contract to 2027 at City and has ruled out walking away over the club’s lack of transfer business, managing the club beyond this season may be dependent on their Premier League survival. So far, the Dutchman has taken just seven points from 12 games in charge, leaving City two points adrift of safety. “Very clinically, when you look at points, I expected more results, more points,” van Nistelrooy said, assessing his first dozen league matches. “If we look at development and doing everything possible with what we have, there is development and that’s the glass half full. “I believe what’s remaining is there to attack and to make sure that we’re getting those points that I felt we missed. “I look at games that we should have taken points, and we didn’t, so we’re looking to do that over the next three months.”
  19. UK and Norway reinforce joint defence against Russiapublished at 13:49 We've just seen a joint statement between the UK and Norway, where both nations have expressed their "ironclad" and "unwavering" support for Ukraine and pledged to enhance their own defence. The countries say they are committing to enhancing their "critical undersea infrastructure" as "Russia's aggression across Europe" continues "growing". They also say they will increase intelligence co-operation and enhance co-operation in the High North and North Atlantic - as sea is where the UK and Norway share "the closest bonds". "We recognise that Russia is willing to use all means at its disposal to undermine European cohesion and support to Ukraine," the statement reads. For context, the UK and Norway describe themselves as "the closest of Allies", with a "deep history", having a "common outlook", and "commitment to democracy". Both countries will use the coming months to work towards a new defence agreement, hoping to sign it by the summer.
  20. ...and there we have it as if people, well those not brainwashed didn't know. White House national security adviser Mike Waltz says Ukraine needs to "tone down" its criticism of the US and sign a minerals deal being pushed by President Trump White House National Security Adviser Michael Waltz says Ukraine needs to rein in its criticism of the US, as Washington tries to secure a peace deal to end the war. "It's unacceptable, they [Ukraine] need to tone it down and take a hard look and sign that deal," he tells Fox News. The deal he is referring to is a push by Donald Trump for access to rare minerals in Ukraine in return for aid, or even as compensation for the support the US has already provided. "We presented the Ukrainians really an incredible, and a historic opportunity," the adviser says, adding that it would be "sustainable" and "the best" security guarantee they could hope for. Zelensky has publicly rejected an American bid to gain access to – and profit from - Ukrainian minerals, saying: "I can't sell our state." But he says that the two countries can reconcile its differences.
