  1. I have shown why it might not be 'end of,' but you're free to ignore it. My first choice as things stand would still be Danny Röhl.
  2. He wouldn't be my first choice necessarily, but I'd have him over Dyche or Martin.
  3. I still don't think we'd have been in title races, but I do think we'd have qualified for the UCL at least once more with all the money that would have brought with it.
  4. We could do a lot worse. Pressing, quick transitions, plenty of counterattacks and high intensity. He was in the dugout for the 9-0 loss to our good selves, but he did seem to learn from it when everyone expected a battering of that magnitude to be fatal to us. This is an interesting analysis from a few years back.
  5. I do think the fans should usually be listened to, and Rohl getting negative reviews from Wednesday fans ought to be a factor in our decision making. However, he is operating out of an absolute circus that makes us look well run. Chansiri has publicly undermined him, the relationship between manager and board is dead, the players weren't paid last month and they're still somehow nowhere near relegation. You could probably forgive him, from an outside perspective, for having mentally checked out and thinking about his next job.
  6. The way we played under Rodgers for his first 18 months was absolutely sumptuous. I think the only reason we were never truly (sustainably, not over half a season) in title races back then was because we were up against a duopoly who regularly amassed over 90 points.
  7. Yep. Appointing Russell Martin would just be more of the same mistake. And I don't think anyone could look at Newcastle or Villa and think they play unattractive or caveman football as I'm sure the Guardiola fanboys would accuse us of if we appointed a manager instilling direct football.
  8. Hadn't Tielemans been touted as a wonderkid since he first broke into the team at Anderlecht? I seem to remember it being quite a coup when he first came to us on loan from Monaco.
  9. That's the one that stung. We were in a far better position than them at the time and our goalkeeping problems were painfully obvious. I honestly think that we'd have survived with something to spare with Navas in goal and Forest gone down with hilariously awful money troubles.
  10. They hated every single second. It was glorious.
  11. Villa will make UCL now. Navigate Man City away and their run-in is pretty straightforward. Newcastle should still be OK with their points cushion.
  12. If Chelsea beat Fulham tomorrow, Lee Anderson FC will kick off at Tottenham on Monday in 6th.
  13. Leicester fans in Not Liking Notts Forest Shocker. 😂
  14. If we're going to be awful, so be it. But don't let that lot shithouse Champions League qualification with a side vastly inferior to the one we had between 2019 and 2022.
  15. Can't believe that people are criticising us for not wanting Forest to fluke Champions League. 😂 I want them to suffer heartbreak and humiliation every single season.
  16. Plus Forest are a ****ing horrible fanbase.
  17. Thoughts and prayers with those who were convinced that it was the second coming of Clough. A midtable to UECL standard side profiting from the crap form of others, nothing more. Now those others are waking up and we can see the consequences.
  18. So long as he does the 22-23 version next season.
  19. Newcastle need the points less and are already two ahead of the Troglodytes.
  20. Chelsea beat Fulham tomorrow and a Tottenham win on Monday, and my underpants go all warm and gooey.
  21. Forest 0-1 Leicester Vardy (90+6)
  22. I also want Vardy to finish his time with us by scoring the winner in front of the long-suffering away end to cause pure human misery.
  23. Potter is a better paid, English Claude Puel. Good at spotting a player and building a foundation for the club to improve, but you probably need a more attack-minded manager to get the best out of what he's built like we did with the Puel-Rodgers transition.
  24. Forest to be knocked into 8th on the final day, courtesy of a 97th minute rebound off KDH's bellend in front of the Trent End as he cups his ears to the Troglodytes. It's written.
