Thoughts and prayers, brother.

2-0 Man City and that's that. Looks as though Lee Anderson FC might be doing a Leicester after all - just the 2020 and 2021 vintage.
-
Chelsea beating Fulham would be good tomorrow.

Everton 0-1 Man City. 😁😁😁😁

Yep, just seen that. I think they might crack 4k for that one. Unbelievable growth considering I remember watching them lose 3-1 to Guiseley at York Street a few years back in front of about 900 people.

It was pretty mad in the East Stand close to kick-off as they only have one turnstile for home fans due to it being shared with away fans until the new stand is built. I think they'll have a good look at it, though. It's been quite a learning curve in the National League this season and they're catching up pretty quickly.

Ben Nelson - loan to Oxford United - Official
Bilo replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I'm not sure Nelson would bring much in. He's a young CB who has had one good season in a relegation threatened Championship team. It would make much more sense to tie him to a decently paid three year contract with a fvck-off release clause. -
Championship 2024/2025 Season Thread

It's mad that people don't realise that the gulf between the Championship and Premier League cuts both ways; if newly promoted teams always end up in and amongst the relegation zone, the reverse must also apply. Luton are an absolute freak, really. I'd be amazed if any of the three relegated teams next season finished below 8th or 9th. -
Championship 2024/2025 Season Thread

The lack of quality in that league makes it laughable that people think we could end up midtable or in a relegation battle. It's plausible that we don't go up next season, but it's play-offs as a minimum. -
Final day there is going to be fun!

😂 We were in at about 2.15 to get a decent spot on the terrace and it just kept getting busier. I was surprised they only made the Main Stand all ticket as well given how busy the South Stand looked. Attendances have gone a bit mad there in recent weeks and I suspect that might roll over into next season given the move to professionalism, the fourth stand and general optimism. Something for the club to think about next season, but a nice problem to have.

Great game at Boston today and good to be part of a record attendance (for the ground) of 3,865. A comfortable 2-0 win over Wealdstone that was pretty much over as a contest after 20 minutes, and a very decent atmosphere. Superb facilities as well - I was very impressed. That club is going places. Watch this space.

King 'ell, those limbs!

This is true, but I think the Everton game shows they have it in them to drop points you'd expect a side in their position to get. Brentford, Palace, Spurs and Chelsea are all potential banana skins. You'd look at the sides around them and think they'll pick up pretty much every point they need to overhaul Forest when not playing one another.
-
Yep. Forest's performances seem to be dipping at the worst possible time and they look nervous just as teams around them are hitting their stride. If anything, the results of Newcastle last night, Villa beating PSG and Arsenal winning at the Bernabeu shows how far away they are.
-
I'm just looking forward to their bubble bursting. 😁
-
6th, I think. Chelsea's run-in is rank.
-
I'm sorry, but anyone watching this who thinks Forest are anywhere near Newcastle in terms of quality wants sectioning.

Regarding the CEO, what does Apichet actually do? Is there no reason why he couldn't get the gig if Top is stretched too thin/not arsed?
-
Works hard, seems a good lad, improving as a player all the time. I'm pleased for him.
-
I don't necessarily mind Newcastle. At least they haven't gone down the time-honoured route of just signing massive names all over the shop, and I do quite like Howe as a manager.
-
In other news, this could be a cricket score. Newcastle definitely making UCL on this form. Coming good at exactly the right time.

It's sad that he'll probably never come back to us, though. I honestly thought it could have been a possibility a year ago if Gordon kept on blocking him from the side and we made something of a go of it in the Prem.
