  1. At least that corner flag is getting closer. Get RVN gone, the deadwood can find clubs ASAP, we can start the managerial hunt and begin to think about next season.
  2. They are a very strange fanbase. Incredibly arrogant, delusional and thicker than a Boxing Day turd on the whole. We have our weirdos and wronguns, but that lot take the cake.
  3. All that talk of 'iS tHiS tHe WaY tO BarCeLoNa' only to end up drawing 0-0 with a Lithuanian WiFi password on a Thursday night. FK Xžžrtūnai-69#VyčiaiNeticėjai 0-0 Notts Forest Attendance: 683
  4. For maximum hilarity, is there much chance that Lee Anderson FC finish 8th and miss out on Europe altogether?
  5. Absolutely. Get them ****ed into the dirt.
  6. You bet your bollox.
  7. Lee Anderson FC down to 6th. Operation Bottle is ON.
  8. Ian Huntley would be a better caretaker than Ruud.
  9. I saw almost nobody on this forum criticising the board between 2015 and 2022 beyond doubts about the levels of King Power branding around the stadium and keeping the clappers after they went stale. Certainly very little criticism of the way they were handling the playing side.
  10. We'd have been a slightly better Southampton, but at least we'd have had a better transfer window once he got the sack around November. Whether that would have given a chance of survival is unclear and based on who replaced him, but the prospects for next season wouldn't have been as poor as we'd have had a squad to build on.
  11. Yes. That is how leadership works. We praised them to the hilt when we were a regular top 10 fixture playing gorgeous football, winning trophies and competing in Europe because the praise was due. They're as responsible for the shitstorm since as they were for the success that preceded it. Why are you so keen to boost the latter and suppress all talk of the former?
  12. There's more chance of RVN winning Manager of the Year.
  13. Yes, that would suit. Start the managerial hunt ASAP and end the season with playing for a bit of pride. Whether they're trying to impress their new clubs or hoping to ingratiate themselves with the new boss, it can only be a positive.
  14. We'd have a decent transfer window, bully the lower end sides and play some lovely stuff. Not sure we win the league like last time as the team just isn't as good without KDH and with some of the deadwood.
  15. Geordies and Villa hitting their stride. Chelsea were always going to be the letdown.
  16. Same season as us last year. Looked brilliant at the start, began to fall off around Christmas and are now fully falling off. I think they'll get 7th and win the UECL, but that only gives them UEL. Not enough for what they've spent.
  17. I said at the time that our very presence in the UECL was the product of two failures. Failure to qualify for the Champions League when it was well within our grasp, and failure to qualify from a group that was eminently winnable in the Europa League. Spaffing a two goal home lead against Napoli, losing at Legia Warsaw when they were struggling in the Polish league and failing to beat a Spartak Moscow side at home when they were so wretched that Patson Daka managed to bag four against them in their own backyard. But even that would have been forgivable if we'd gone on to win the Conference League. But a gutless performance in Rome put paid to that after there was at least some effort at home. And we could have gone on to beat Feyenoord as well to secure UEL qualification as a consolation. Instead, spineless performance before a disastrous season.

I think the Tories still do best with that particular demographic. Much of Reform's resurgence has been built on white, working-class Gen X men in skilled manual jobs, and 'left behind' millennials with few to no qualifications, rather than Boomers.
  19. I swear it'll come out in about five years time that he got frozen out for fingering Vestergaard's dog or something. In fact, I reckon the dog could probably get on the bench, never mind a supposedly professional striker on £90k a week.
  20. Nobody defends a billionaire more than a thousandaire. See Musk's basement dwelling worshippers for an example.
  21. The first rule of leadership is that you must take the blame for failure if you want to take the credit for success. The club has been on a spiral of failure since that European semifinal he mentioned, with the second Championship win being built largely on a very well-paid, expensively assembled squad that was far too good for the division and should never have been relegated.
  22. And make Coventry pay for it!
  23. I don't for a second think he'd have threatened Vardy's place, but as an option aged 22 with some resale value? It might not have been utterly stupid. The big miss was Lookman.
  24. 2020 Edouard could have been a reasonable investment, even if only for a season. He had been monstrous for Celtic. He's just completely and utterly broken as a football player now.
