At essentially the half way point: 2021/22: F14 A53 2022/23: F15 A48 2023/24: F15 A21 (extrapolated to a full 22 game season F33 A46). Big thing is Kirk has massively fixed our attack. Near enough half way through the season and we've already got as many goals as in either of the last two seasons. Defence still plodding along as is. It's not as bad as some are making out but what is obvious is how inexperienced this team are at actually taking leads and so managing them. We've dropped 8 points from winning positions (1-0 v man Utd, spurs and west ham and drew, 2-0 up v arsenal and lost, and v Brighton and drew) - had we seen those out we'd be 4th on GD and 1 point off arsenal in third. That said, we've taken the lead in 7 games this season, only 13 across the previous two seasons combined.

Sloppy is the word for sure. The injury crisis isn't helping current performances but hopefully is at just the right time to encourage pockets to open in Jan for a defender or two and a midfielder

You've literally highlighted "once he's proven himself". The point is Vardy and Iheanacho haven't really done it yet, Dakas looked good, Cannon hasn't even had a start. If Cannon looks good then maybe him over Daka but currently the first choice striker shouldn't be Vardy or Iheanacho

No. Take last season. At the half way point of last season Spurs were 11 points off the top of the prem and we were 11 points behind Liverpool. Spurs were never getting into a title challenge and we were never getting close to Liverpool.

Currently. Win our next two and we're on 58. Ipswich lose v Leeds and they're on 52. Leeds win today and v Ipswich and they're on 47. We're not talking getting closer to us, we're talking Ipswich taking a huge confidence knock right before we play them and getting drawn into the playoff scrap

Win on Monday and at home to Rotherham as we should and we are at a minimum 11 clear of Leeds after half a season. They're not rivals

We pull away, Leeds pull closer and Ipswich's primary focus is staying in the top two.
