  1. Casadei has typically been too slow for this league, guy wants a second more than he'll get with each touch.
  2. Yunus and Casadei already breaking down an attacking move each by being too lightweight on the ball. Genuinely need to go to the market for that position
  3. cars broken down and I can't make it. Does this count as a midweek game and on sky red button or is it foxeshub/stream?
  4. Playoffs isn't promotion though. We'd need to extend our lead over third to 25 points in 14 games (currently 11), that's 1ppg better than Southampton over the next 14, very tall ask
  5. It's a joke about the COVID season, behind closed doors although the numbers are wrong. They had a total of 12,000 in attendance that season (2,000 in two home games when lockdowns were lifted regionally, and 8000 in their final game of the season), 19 league games and 3 home cup games. That's an average of 632 in the league or 545 in league and cup
  6. I mean, to not do so Sunderland would have to make up 25 points in 21 games, that'd be absolutely wild form
  7. Ipswich getting ridiculously spawny, should be on 0 points from 9 for the festive period with the two blatant penalties not given
  8. Greatest team to ever grace this division currently closer to 17th than 1st and closer to 7th than 2nd
  9. Winks spins two players, gets yanked down, no foul. Standards for refs are in the toilet
  10. That's Fatawu and Yunus
  11. Was the ball not going out for our throw there?
  12. We signed Mav permanently back in August?
  13. I mean that's a difficult chance with how quickly it comes at him
  14. Ooof, one of these Abdul cut ins will go in eventually, think that's 3 that have hit the woodwork this season now (hull and Leeds) and it'll be goal of the season
  15. What a finish!
  16. Losing a bit of control the last 10 minutes
  17. Sometimes, let's not forget how much we badmouthed Nachos touch and link up in games like Middlesbrough
  18. I mean nachos first touch is hit and miss and best, Vardys isn't fantastic, Shinji always played like a piano falling down stairs, Slimani was a concrete block in a blue shirt...
  19. Can't remember the last time we had a striker who had a decent first touch tbh
  20. @FosseSpark is crying into his hovis right now. Surprised at the lack of rotation but I guess Huddersfield at home is the easier of the two games.
  21. Notice you're going off about how Daka is shit, but still haven't responded to this:
  22. Var also awards us a penalty Vs Sunderland for the foul on Fatawu that continued into the box but the ref only gave a free kick for, in direct contradiction with the rules of the game but ultimately that's the issue with VAR, it's still refs that don't know what they're doing that are using it. There's literally no demand from PGMOL for basic standards from the refs, take Taylor earlier this season, gets bumped down to the championship for one game to take the heat away then comes back for Chelsea v Man City. That's not any sort of punishment for really poor performances, that's not setting a standard or expectations, that's "yea do what you like, we don't care" and no wonder standards are so far in the toilet that the likes of Keith Stroud keep getting games or Jon Moss got to referee in the prem
  23. Weird how his injury problems have suddenly disappeared the moment he left just like they mysteriously disappeared every time an international break rolled round. But I'm sure he wasn't just a completely uncommited captain
  24. You're completely wrong. Like yes the goals he's scored have been pretty easy finishes however you've got to be in the position to get them. Take his goal v Plymouth for instance: that's created by his dropping in deep then spinning and running the length of the pitch. It's a simple finish but none of our other strikers even get that chance because their movement is not as good, Vardy lacks the yard of pace he used to have and Iheanachos work ethic is not there for it. You mention the penalty but that pass back to create the penalty is caused by the level of press he sets from the front, which Vardy and Nacho have not done as much this year. Then take Casadeis goal v Rotherham: This chance only exists because of Dakas front post run, bringing the CBs across and leaving a tap in for Butch. We've seen enough from Iheanacho to know he'd still be on the penalty spot for the cutback. His link up play isn't perfect sure, but he's been doing it a lot better than Kelz or Vardy, and his link up play and movement are a big reason why Mavididi has 5 in 5 since he started starting, and why in that time we've scored 14 (2.8 goals per game, vs 34 in 19 or 1.8 goals per game in the previous 19). Currently he's the best option we have up top
  25. Daka who has far better assist and goals stats per 90? Daka who has the pace to actually break and will chase passes? That Daka? Iheanacho at this point shouldn't be anywhere near the team
