  1. That said, Daka is doing better than Vardy or Iheanacho at the press and at the drawing CBs out for the third man run, good performance but needs a goal to get the monkey (and the fans) off his back
  2. We need to learn to be more ruthless. Had the chances to be 3/4 up before they showed up and now hanging on a bit thanks to Mads saves
  3. I wish we'd just go for the jugular occasionally
  4. Just shoot there!!
  5. Vestergaard needed to chip that and Daka was in
  6. I love Fatawu. Sign him up now
  7. Fair enough, in the kop so looked like a tap-in
  8. How did Daka not score there?
  9. That they're not in the squad
  10. Not sure that's quite right beeb
  11. Because we need a long term striker? The dude has had a stress fracture in his back and not kicked a ball in 6 months, he's not gonna just immediately start, come on FT be realistic
  12. Hope Daka smashes it
  13. Monday night is a work night if you do a Monday-Friday job and a school night. Means some parents won't take their kids because it's too late and they've got school in the morning, or depending on where you live and work, having to take Monday and Tuesday off/half days rather than just Friday.
  14. 2004 is very young? Ok Enzoferatu

    The gym

Really anything nutrient dense but calorie light. Nuts are a very good shout, I'm a fan of low-fat yoghurts with oats for breakfast and small snack portions and fruits. As Una said though, diet is key for weight loss. Your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure - calories out) is roughly 75% your basal metobolic rate (energy needed simply for your organs to keep working), 10% thermic effect of food (the calories you burn just to digest food) then the rest is non-exercise activity thermogenesis (energy expended on just normal activity like walking to the car or scratching your head) and thermic effect of exercise. The calories you consume from working out are pretty negligible tbh. Like I had a solid two hour leg day yesterday after work and based on heart rate training zones, expended ~600 calories. Might sound like a lot but calculating based off Mifflin-St Jeor my BMR is around ~3500 (6ft 2 and 17 and a half stone, train 4 days a week and play football on sundays + football training in midweek), and even taking out the activity multiplier it'd be around 2300 for sedentary lifestyle, so the addition of 2 hours working out gets to ~25% of what I'd burn just by staying curled up in bed all day - the gym is not an efficient way to burn calories and so not efficient for weight loss. If you're looking for what to do in the gym though for weigh loss - train weights, specifically hypertrophic training. Adding on muscle mass increases calorie usage by increasing your metabolic rate. Very slow process since what you're looking for is body recomp rather than necessarily a cut and bulk pattern, but it's effective.
  16. So, they're forced to sign and play Danny Ward?
  17. "A player is in an offside position if: any part of the head, body or feet is in the opponents’ half (excluding the halfway line) and any part of the head, body or feet is nearer to the opponents’ goal line than both the ball and the second-last opponent" https://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/lawsandrules/laws/football-11-11/law-11---offside Winks and Dewsbury-Hall are both in our half from that pass and so are onside, and winks is behind the ball when Dewsbury-Hall plays the pass so he's onside as well. This isn't "state of refereeing in this country" it's "people not knowing the offside rule" unless you're being sarcastic?
  18. That defending looks worse and worse with every view. How on earth do you let the opposition be 2v1 with the keeper 10 yards inside their own half
  19. Going after 85 mins rather than stoppage time Dewsbury-Hall on opening day, Casadei v Cardiff, Winks V WBA, Vardy v Sheff Utd, Amartey V Brighton in the last three seasons
  20. That'd work but they'd need new balls each round and for each year because the first 44 numbers are the prem and championship sides listed in alphabetic order (so we switch between 20 and 21 based on whether Barnsley have been relegated or promoted recently).
  21. Have specific balls prewarmed so there's a temperature difference when drawing
  22. In his 10th competitive appearance for us and 18th senior game overall?
  23. He routinely plays short balls and helps us retain possession rather than just cunting it long so the ball can come back and face more shots
  24. Because if they don't put in max effort they'll lose a hand
  25. His short range passing is far better than long range. His overall pass accuracy is 86.5%. 99.7% at 5-15 yards, 98.2% at 15-30 yards, 50.7% at 30+ yards. Much like any player really, hit it long and it increases the potential for turnovers and means that half the time the ball is coming straight back at you (and the 49.3% successful, majority will be a flick on header and lost on the second ball)
