  1. Only had a year left, with a mutual agreement you'd think we'd have saved some money on his wages for the year and was unlikely to get a fee for him. Goodbye and good luck Fran
  2. I'd still extend him if he's willing. ACL injuries aren't the career killers they used to be
  3. Thought we'd only given him a 3 & half year deal not 5 & half. In that case play hard ball all we want to unless we sign a CB to replace him first
  4. If anyone in their last year has an acceptable offer sell, we need to stop losing sellable assets for free, it's a massive part the reason we are in this mess
  5. All that guff about her coming home and she's out the door at the first chance
  6. Wilson-Brown?
  7. Yes but from memory he wasn't good in the championship but I might be misremembering, hence the question. It was also a reference to the bslb show name...
  8. is that a good for League One thing or just a good thing?
  9. one basic thing they should have done by now is move the women's team into Seagrave and get whatever money they can for Belvoir Drive, it would also reduce costs and we wouldn't be running 2 training grounds
  10. if you can sell Hamza and keep Skipp around fine, but I don't think we'll need both
  11. tbf not many players can be as good as Callum O'Hare, that's a lofty goal
  12. we also still own Belvoir Drive, that should also be added to the valuation of the club
  13. that's not how it works, the book value means nothing its simply a number on the balance sheet, it only matters if you SELL the player, so loaning him out gets us a loan fee, which is pure profit and saving on his wages to what ever extent PNE would be covering it. He will lose book value regardless of what happens unless we find someone willing to pay the £15m or so needed to cover it, which I very much doubt will happen. Also losing the value is a good thing as it lowers the fee you need to get to record an accounting profit
  14. for those mentioning Ollie Cooper as a replacement he's joined Notts County on loan
  15. you don't need to cover the amortisation with a loan fee, the book value matters when you sell not when you loan a player out
  16. loan fee doesn't need to beat his amortised value as he'd still be on our books its just added income
  17. unless we can sell for more than his book value a loan with reduced wage costs might be the best we can do
  18. presumably there would be a loan fee too, so a loan fee and half his wages off the books
  19. he won the championship on loan at Norwich I think
  20. this actually wouldn't cost us any more than keeping would him as his deal is up in the summer, if he can get a move on a free transfer we should accept that too, at least we would same something on his wages even if we had to subsidise the move
  21. which is exactly what some trolling git would say ...
  22. after two years I still don't know where he fits in, clearly not a 9, not technical enough to play 10 and slow for a winger?
  23. according so a Swansea fan online he can play as a 10, 9, on the wing and Bellamy even used him as an 8 for Wales at times
  24. Beau King is a striker isn't she? I thught she was fairly highly rated by the club?
  25. it was always something that would pay off longer term
