  1. I'm not sure he spent anything, the club did. There are lots of factors you seem to be assuming, and attributing all of them to Rogers.
  2. How do you know he didn't try to get someone more Morgan like? Those players have to be available and want to sign for us. It's possible Vestergaard was the only one available who wanted to join us. I know this is foxestalk but you can't just assume stuff, can you?
  3. GK - Kasper - we've had some incredible keepers at the club but of the one's I've seen play it's hard to see past this fella. RB - Ricardo - thought about Mills but Rickie P is just too good to leave out. CB - Walsh - Captain fantastic. What a colossus of a player, always delivered when we needed it most. Probably my all time favourite. CB - Morgan - Proper pulled down Forest pants with this one. A beast of a man. What we achieved under his captaincy is mind blowing. LB - Schlupp - The best, not by a long shot, but every time he got the ball and ran it was great to watch. RM - Mahrez - easily the most skillful player I've seen pull our shirt on. What a player, hopefully he comes back for a year or two. CM - Izzet - I've seen him win so many games for us. Oozed quality. His goal reel has got to be up there with the clubs best. CM - Kante - Only way I could get 3 in the middle playing 442. 1 season but wow what a season. Shame he didn't stay for the next seasons Champions League adventure. LM - Dyer - Loved watching this guy. Just played football how every one of us would, and had pace to burn. ST - Heskey - Have we had a better player come through ranks? Defenders were terrified of him and rightly so. ST - Vardy - There should never be a best ever Leicester side without this man in it. Not only our best but one of the very best Premier League strikers to date. I doubted him early doors but he is phenomenal.
  4. You remind of the BBC who have a say no to Hate "campaign", yet there own message boards are full of bile and hatred aimed at all manner of people. They don't give the first stuff. If you want people to conduct themselves better you should lead by example.
  5. Isn't it common courtesy to not call people dicks??
  6. I always know when my smart arsed daughter is in the wrong. She starts to use poncy words she thinks you won't understand as some sort of subterfuge.
  7. Could be worse, the poster could have put a full stop after it.................oh wait a minute.
  8. Award for massive overreaction of the day goes to..... Don't believe everything you read in the tabloids. They don't give a toss about Mourinho or you and are just selling stories, made up one most of the time. He is clearly still we regarded in footballing circles by the people that matter. I'm not too sure where this underachieving bit comes from either. If it's just the Spurs thing I'd argue he achieved precisely what I expected with them. I remember him massively overachieving at Man Utd.
  9. Sell Kels
  10. Are they not one and the same? You claim we don't get the signings (targets) we set out to get. How do you know this?
  11. Can you provide any evidence to back up this assertion. Seems pretty baseless to me. I'm not privy to the clubs wanted list for each window but I find that claim somewhat spurious. Surely Tielemans was top of the list the window we signed him?
  12. Are you on the wind up? I hope so. If not I'm not sure he can win with you. If he doesn't achieve top four his reputation will be damaged and if he does get 4th it's all down to luck.
  13. Yeah I think you're expecting too much from posters on here. This is no place for common sense posts.
  14. Very well done Annie. I actually never doubted you for a second. I'm only sorry I can't be of more help social media wise, I don't really use it, I tend to just phone the people I want to talk too. Bit old school I know. If you look at the petition stats the signers are pretty much all in the East Midlands. There is no reason why that can't be replicated across the country. I think you will end up smashing 100k. I'm sure I speak for the entire foxestalk family when I say we are very proud of you.
  15. Have you had any more thoughts on how to spread the word faster? If you get it right I think you will reach over 100k in the time it's take you to get to 10k. 100k has to be the real target. 10k will just get you a rehearsed line from government, the latter will get it raised in parliament. Have you tried contacting your local MP for his/her thoughts?
  16. I see what you mean, there may be some merit in that. Lots of people have short attention spans, the tik tok generation 🙄
  17. Oh no! I didn't mean to make you cry, I'm really sorry about that. Please don't get disheartened it's nearing 7000 and tbh that's not terrible from the amount of views. It's the amount of views that needs to increase, the % of signers is what it is. I know it sucks. You could probably stick a clip of a cat leaping away from a cucumber on YouTube in the morning and have a million views by lunch time. Something clearly more worthwhile seems much more difficult to get up an running. It just means when you finally succeed you will have a bigger smile on your face. You really need to get an influencer or many of them to run with this. Anyone with tonnes of followers. How you achieve that is the tricky one. Just try reaching out to as many as you can, they can only say no. Someone mentioned Mr Lineker earlier, with his Leicester connections seems an obvious choice. It could be something he would want to do but may not be able to. If he isn't directly paid by some of these companies he is more than likely indirectly paid by them. That could be an issue with many an influencer too, why bite a hand that may potentially feed you at some point. Rich people have little morals or scruples when it comes to making cash, just look at those appalling adverts Phillip Schofield does. Just have faith in yourself and you will achieve your goal.
  18. I finally watched the video. Wow! That was seriously impressive. To speak for almost eight minutes in such a calm, controlled, eloquent and stoic manner, with no erms or fumbling, on a subject that must be immensely difficult for you to talk about. I take my hat off to you. I have 2 daughters and if either do anything as impressive as that I will whack a big tick in the dad done a good job column. I am left with an overwhelming sense of anger especially now I've looked at how many signatures there are. I'm not massively up with how to get these things moving but surely 100,000 signatures shouldn't be beyond us as a people. What's the best way to get some traction on this?
  19. I don't often feel the urge to post but this got me clicking on the password finder. I'll start by saying I signed your petition, didn't watch the video - I'm a weeper and I get the sense it could be a bit teary, not a great look in the office. I'll maybe give it a go later. I guess it would be fair to say I bet, but I am quite a controlled fella and will only bet what I set out to, and I never chase losses. It's quite odd but in a way it adds to the enjoyment of watching it for me. During the football season I will bet a maximum of £20 a week. The last time I went to the cinema it was over £20 and to do most things these days it is north of that, so is £20 that bad? I don't drink, smoke or have any other wasteful habits. Your petition mentioned free bets, which honestly I quite like, it means I have to pay less. However if I put myself in a position of someone with less control and can fully see that these are a MASSIVE problem. It is quite clear that gambling does destroy lives, not just the lives of the gamblers. I have thought for many years that betting should be contained to betting shops only and BANNED online. It is far to easy to place a bet, if you had to shake your arse down to the betting shop most wouldn't bother. Even though I gain some enjoyment from betting I would quite happily have the whole industry banned, to prevent yourself and others like you suffering so unnecessarily. I support your cause wholeheartedly and hope some meaningful action comes from it. I'm sure all those connected to you are incredibly proud of you. Keep up the good fight.
