Mic drop. You're like the Foxestalk Peter Doocy.
-
Bang on we missed a couple of corkers for relative peanuts there.
-
Ok I think you've gone woman on me. I was just calling you out on your bs that players wouldn't sign for clubs with no manager in place. It is simply not true.
-
You wouldn't accept a much lower wage on that basis? Footballers have belief in their abilities. Whoever the manager is I'm good enough to start. Footballers go where the money is. They are not some unusual breed of human in that respect.
-
If it included a tasty pay rise sure, so would you.
-
Why? Clubs sign players not managers.
-
You can always support a different one.

I remember the exact same posts the last time we played Forest.

The lady doth protest too much, me thinks

I'll do it. It's gonna be a nice gaffe and let's face it he spends that much time living in your head I'll never see him.
-
Ain't that the truth.
-
Surely these things are pretty pointless if you don't have a dislike option.

Yowzer! Yeah I can't follow you down that rabbit hole. Let's say you have 60m and decide to invest 50m in artwork. Your partner knows a bit about art. Do you let them spend the 50m for you? Would you heck as like. You would get opinions from all over the place. Make sure that investment was rock solid.

Are you seriously equating giving the person you love £200 to giving someone you employ tens of millions?
-
I'm not going personal. I haven't attacked Rodgers once. There are plenty on here who do who you haven't aimed that comment at. I'm simply stating he doesn't sign players the club does. These deals are for massive amounts of money and if you think Rodgers has the final say you operate on a level I can't. To attribute our performances to him is acceptable. He picks the team, tactics etc.
-
That's not him having the last say either. Like I said he has some input and some players will want to come here because if him. That's not him buying the players or sanctioning deals.
-
I quite sure Rodgers has an input, he's the manager. He certainly won't have the last word, unless it's his cash. The buck stops with the person who writes the cheques and sanctions the deals. That is clearly not Rodgers, no matter what someone posted. Use your loaf. There are people who post the world is flat and men can get pregnant. If you've had a chat with Top and he said Rodgers has the last say on transfer deals fair enough, anything else I'm not buying it.
-
Maybe he did suggest him but it's Leicester city's choice to employ him. I'm quite sure the scouting/recruitment team at City is extensive. You are operating on a reality level I can't, if you believe Rodgers signs the players, even via congerton. It's crazy town stuff. These deals are for tens of millions. The club have to do their due diligence and Rodgers will not be a part of that. How we operate on the field of play, he's totally culpable. We do look bereft of most things during games atm.
-
Rodgers is more culpable for our style of play and how we approach a game than he is for transfers. This notion that all the players he has signed are rubbish is lunacy. Rodgers hasn't signed any players, the club sign them. It's not the 70's anymore these clubs are massive businesses and they sign the players they want for the fees and wages they agree to. I'm sure Rodgers does have some input but I imagine that input to be what areas need strengthening and this is a list of players we can get which would fit your system best. If you think Rodgers said I need a CB, I want Vestergaard pay whatever it takes, you're insane.
-
It's more likely that the board ask the manager what areas need strengthening, the recruitment team compile lists of players to suit. Then maybe a player, let's pick Perez, is suggested as a player that can be signed and could Rodgers see him fitting into the team and style of play. Rodgers say yes and then the board spunk 30m on him. I'd see that scenario as more likely than Rodgers saying get me this player and make sure you spend at least 30m on him.

Jo Why would a person follow anyone on social media, bit stalkerish. This is the only "social media" I partake in, and I hardly do this tbh.
