I'd not thought about this until you said that .... I played football for 30 seasons and picked up more, and worse, injuries in 3 seasons of cricket!!!!

There's one thing that drives me nuts with Stringer and his "this is our season" all the time .... He basically screams it after every goal we score - It just seems like he's editing the season's highlights already and is giving himself content rather than just commentating on the game and reacting naturally.

I've just been looking at transfers in and out for a different discussion .... In the site i was looking at it listed every move and a lot of them were loans out of fringe squad players .... So some are listed as transfers out several times as they went on loans several times .... Could be the explanation??

Certainly seems that way .... But as there's no news today and he's flown off with the squad it's looking like we're going to have to endure this for the rest of the season.

My only problem was that he got about 5 words out before stringer wanted to speak .... and because he didn't just let stringer speak over him (it was tringer interrupting so why should he) stringer said see ya and cut him off ..... sounded like a 12 year not getting an extension to bedtime.

Stringer should have just let the guy finish his point .... then he wouldn't have had to cut him off because he couldn't interupt him. It's the phone in - not the Stringer's opinion show .... or it's meant to be. I'm hoping Big Nige mauls him at the weekend now!!!!

Yes .... I think so .... what was his point?? Stringer apologising at the end about cutting the fella off and saying he didn't mean to!!!!! Maybe the fact that you said "see ya" as you cut him off gave the game away there stringer?

Oh and ingratiating ... seems he's trying to impress Jobber tonight.

I can't think of a worse referee's performance than this. I took 3 lads from work who are all premiership team fans and they simply could not believe the standard of refereeing was so poor. He was so consistantly getting it wrong that I don't think 5 minutes went by without him making a howling mistake. Awful. Please pass on my regards to your mate.
