Good man. Glad to hear it!! Wasn't a pop at you, I'm just driven nuts on here - in every player thread there's someone slating them, in the hope they call one right and have their day in the sunshine of Toldyousoland!
-
And this is what drives far too many posts on FT ..... Slate someone in the hope that one day you get it right and can say "I don't want to say I told you so, but I did"
-
I think the days of knowing who we'd possibly buy are over - not many times in the last few seasons that I could have predicted a target!
-
Good point .... If we let 4-5 fringe players go then great but let's get one high quality signing to show ambition to the rest of the squad.
-
I think Walcott is good value at £20m!!!!
-
According to Sky News sticker.
-
Really enjoyed that. Dominated with fine football. Love watching us under CP.

Another game, another game he has impressed me with his team selection and style of play. Without noticing too much he does change the side quite regularly and generally has made the right choice each time.
-
I was so impressed with him today. To come back from so much time out and get picked ahead of Iborra (who i think is a quality player and done really well) but then fully justify that decision really does deserve credit. Really hope he can stay fit / get fitter now. Well played Matty James

What don't you understand about team sport?? Or maths 3-1 = 2
-
Absolutely agree.
-
Agree .... We look more composed defending with these two at the back and can retain possession. I like the look of him and whilst no big upgrade on Morgan an ample replacement for a Championship Winning Captain at 26 so not a bad replacement and quite a compliment!
-
Yep. Incredible that anyone can find something to moan about Chilwell and want rid of him. Crazy.
-
Two answers pick which one you want..... According to anyone that knows anything about football. Or The various Premier League teams that have enquired about his availability, the 3-4 age groups he's been a regular England international. And anyone that knows anything about football.

I've been screaming at the TV all afternoon - Every single chance to give a foul against us and he took it, every clear foul was a yellow card. And yet only very clear fouls got a free kick for us and no bookings for identical offences. Like someone else said Kante committed more fouls of a worse nature than Chilwell.
-
Seriously? This ranks as one of the stupidest things I've read on FT. Chilwell was quality today, as usual, and had two harsh yellows, that wouldn't have been given as yellows if a Chelsea player had committed the foul (which were barely fouls). One of the brightest young English talents and you want to get rid. Unbelievable, it really is.

The definition of "not first 11" surely????
-
This. I sometimes wonder that about all aspects of social media though.
-
The club hold his playing registration and a fixed term contract so he doesn't have any option if they don't want to sell ..... Unlike most of us that aren't on fixed term contracts or have our professional registration held by our employers.
-
I thought his distribution was shocking today .... On a day that we should have been looking to keep possession and play it short he seemed to ignore the short ball overtime and aimlessly punt it into touch or their centre half. Seemed like he was having a competition with Benny for who could look least like a footballer for the first 45 mins.

I'd rather have the money in the bank than Deeney to replace Slimani. He's declining rapidly (and was never that good!)
-
That's kinda my point really ..... Against league one opposition, 5 years development later you'd expect him to boss it again. He's fully fit, 375 1st team games, 40 international, skipper for the day, 10 years at the club, desperate for first team action, and 29 years old ..... this is his peak .... So if he's not going to shine against div 1 opposition under those circumstances then he just isn't good enough for a top 6 Prem side (which is our aim).
-
Yeah I've seen just about every one of his games for us. If i'd only been around for the last few years I wouldn't have seen much would I? I'm not sure you have to be honest .... He's number 10 because that's exactly what he used to be good at - taking the game to the opposition. Admittedly 5-6 years ago was the last evidence of this consistently. He's played 375 games for us, 40 games as an international and yet you seem to think he's not going to boss the midfield against Fleetwood town in their first ever game against top flight opposition. There were lots of poor performances today - but this was AK's big chance to boss a game. Chance missed.
-
Not sure he's a scapegoat - he just should've been our main man today and was far far from it. Rest of the reserves also proved why they are exactly that too.
-
He's Leicester's longest serving player, one of, if not, the most experienced English top 2 division players on the pitch. He should have been the boss of midfield in a game against a team 2 divisions below ..... If he isn't then he stands no chance of being the boss in the premier league. I love his story with LCFC, but he's not improving and we have ..... time to go.
